Vancouver Periodontics

I highly do not recommend. I waited over a year to get an appointment just to get it rescheduled and the fees are ridiculous. Just do yourself a favour and go with another specialist.

I moved to Vancouver and had to find a new Periodontist (I was pretty nervous) and I lucked out! Dr. Lee and the staff are friendly, skilled and kind. I highly recommend this practice and cannot say enough about their professionalism and attention to detail.

Dr Lee is an absolute perfectionist with her work and takes every possible measure to get the best results possible - which is why she is so successful in doing so. I also found her to be very compassionate and personable.

My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Lee to perform the extraction of an unsalvageable tooth as well as an implant to replace. I additionally had to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted. My experiences with Dr. Lee have been excellent. The extractions were done with care and professionalism, and compared to previous experiences the amount of pain and discomfort afterwards was minimal. Dr. Lee' provided excellent communication regarding what was being done and the steps that I could take to maximize the chances of success, and she followed up with a text afterwards to ensure that I was doing alright. I'd highly recommend Dr. Lee.

I was referred here for an introductory consultation by my dentist. Overall positive experience. Staff are friendly and Dr Han was helpful and straightforward in discussing treatment options with me. But this office is terrible when it comes to communication. I was disappointed, then angry, that they insist on sending you your results via mail instead of email. It took them two tries to send my report to my address, which I had verified over the phone with them twice. After it did not show up the second time, they stopped trying. Then when I called them, no answer and no call back. This is not acceptable customer service.In summary. This business needs to get with the program and start communicating via email. It's a basic technology at this point and it's not unreasonable to ask that a simple 2 paragraph report be sent that way. I will not recommend this business to anyone living in the 21st century. You will get your results faster and have a better experience at another office with an email address.

For nearly 30 years I have had the good fortune to be a patient of both Dr Michelle Lee and her father before her, Dr. Ken Lee, they are the best. Their professionalism, knowledge, empathy and bedside manor are amazing. Over the years I have had extensive reconstuctive procedures completed without complication or difficulty. Their office staff is excellent. My wife and I have a great GP dentist,, however when it comes to implants or any periodontal procedures we turn to Dr Lee for guidance and care. Their hygienist Angie has been excellent, incredably conscientious and thorough.and for nearly 30 years the work I have had done at the office has made a monumental improvement in my life without a problem. I cannot thank everyone at the office enough. If you are facing challenging or complicated periodontal care or require reconstructive dental care you will be in excellent hands at Vancouver Periodontics.

My initial experience here was positive, but recently I have been treated very unprofessionally. In September I booked an appointment for the following February, only to be told less than a week before my appointment that they had decided to refuse me as a customer. The fact that I had been denied service is not what I am upset with, as they had good reason. Cancelling my appointment and telling me they will not accept future appointments is one thing, but to string me along for 5 months then cancel last minute is unacceptable, unprofessional and quite frankly I expect more from a medical office.I should have been informed that my business was not welcome as soon as possible so I could make other arrangements to deal with my medical issue, instead I have been waiting 5 months for an appointment that isn't going to happen, and will probably have to wait another 5-6 months to get an appointment at another periodontal clinic, during which time my oral health issues will continue to go untreated. To be treated like this by a medical professional is shocking.

I have very severe late stage gum disease, loss of several teeth and bone damage to several parts of my jaw. I found Dr Michelle to be a very kind and gentle doctor, who gives the information regarding my condition very clearly and compassionately. She was realistic about my options and extremely straightforward with the cost, healing times and the risk to me. Even my own dentist blew things way out of proportion. I am grateful to Dr Lee for her help and for her treatment. I can smile again. Truly.

Dr. Han is very informative and definitely has your best interest in mind. He has taken great care of my family's oral health and I can't thank him enough for that. The staff are very friendly as well. Only thing I do wish is that they become more techy, but I totally get it - not all patients are tech savvy (like my mother!)
