Good place in Bodø to have a drink and enjoy the surrounding scenery. The interior (like a lot of the buildings in Bodø) has a nice eighties atmosphere. The staff is professional and friendly.

Very nice restaurant, excellent service, great food and a spectacular view of the bay. Love it!! We were abre to see the midnight sun.

I reviewed this restaurant 3 years ago and promised that i wouldn't return, but the fate of events had changed and here i am again.The last time my review gave them 2 stars and now they are a strong 5. The menu although small was so different that you want to try new things. The food was excellent, good portions, quick servings and very helpful and dedicated staff. This restaurant is now on my favourite list

We stayed in the hotel and invited our 92 year old aunt who lives in Bodø for dinner. We had a great evening in Roast. Very good food (lamb platter with different types of lamb meat) and beef. Nice wines, Beautiful view, even though it was cloudy, and an outstanding excellent and personal service of Lena. Highly recommended!

Fantastic bar and restaurant with excellent views. Roast is located at the tallest building in town. Visitors can can either sit at sofa inside or chairs outside. We were lucky to have nice weather. The views were absolutely beautiful and stunning. You won't regret to come up to have a drink and lay back to enjoy the views of Bodo.

Service was great; food absolutely enjoyed every mouthful. You have to give it a try. Great view over the town and harbour assume in good weather balcony is open.

Had the duck breast and creme brulee here yesterday.The restaurant itself is located beautifully on the 17th floor of the hotel, with great views over the city. We had a table by the window and enjoyed the wide ranging view we had.The duck breast was served perfectly cooked and the sweet potato puree among other side dishes were great overall. One end side of the duck did have some muscle tissue and overly much fat, which was a bit of a disappointment, as it made it rough to chew.The creme brulee was really great, as was everything on the plate. Raspberry sorbet, sauce and berries were all just great. Can't say much more than that the dessert was the highlight for me here.

I am staying in the hotel and after 22 hours of travel to get to Bodo, I did not want to go anywhere else for dinner. As others have commented, the restaurant us on the 17th floor. Even on a grey and rainy night the views were great. At 9:30 at night there were still lots of people in both the restaurant and bar. It was noisy, so if you want a social environment this will be perfect. I had the entrecote. Nicely done. Tender beef. Served on a wooden board with little pots for the fries and salad. My only surprise was that I was expecting a green salad. The menu did not say green--I just assumed. The salad had cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion in a vinaigrette. Overall a very nice meal with the caveat that this is Bodo so on the expensive side.

The food is really good. The personnel is really nice, friendly, attentive to their customers. The view is also really really nice. It might look a bit pricey but if you put everything together I don't think it's overpriced.
