We love hiking the Dundas loop trail. The Hermitage is just one of the highlights for our family. It's a great picnic area and the kids love to climb on the castle" ruins. Other highlights along the trail are the rail station

Best trails in the HRC. Great little heritage and environmental sign posts. Horse riding, biking, bird watching, hiking. Has options for more challenging hikes and easy afternoon hikes. The conservation authority does great work.

Haunted area! I think a horseman hijacked my GPS here. I was sitting still and then suddenly my GPS said i was moving down a trail at about 20kmh. It led a trail to this place. Also, there are some geocaches in the area here. Fun times.

I like this place which is definitely a great destination to take pictures, with full of sunshine and blue sky. Easy access from the parking and I do enjoy hiking here

this was a really fun night out. my friend and I had a great time and it was really spooky. The person that did the tour was amazing she brought the stories to life by the time it got really dark I was truly feeling a bit of trepidation and I kept flashing my flashlight into the forest it was literally awesome and well worth the money.

The Hermitage
The Hermitage is a nice little spot to stop while on a hike in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. It's a neat spot for pictures, and kids love running around and climbing the ruins.
