Downtown Travel Medicine Clinic
This is a top notch choice. The service is excellent and they clearly care about their patients. Wait times tend to be shorter than you would expect, given the extraordinary scheduling challenges for a smaller clinic. Yet, during your consultation, you never feel rushed. Great attention is paid to you when you call, visit and when they report back results by phone. They have also been excellent in providing referrals to some of the top specialists in Ottawa. Highly recommended.

Been a patient for over 23yrs from a referral, he also took my husband as a patient when we got married 16yrs ago. Sometimes the wait in the waiting room or to get an appt is long but Dr. Weiner is a great doctor, quite warm and personable and in this day and age with so many people out there not having a family Dr. I am glad I have such a knowledgeable one. Hope he practices for a lot more years

I've seen Lorne many times over the years. He is an experienced travel doctor who's been all over the world and always seems genuine. He takes the time to listen and gives great advice, he knows his stuff. Also this clinic has a very convenient downtown location, the transitway bus stop is literally outside the building.

Great and funny doctor! Aside from giving good health advice and vaccines, he told us some other places we should check out in our travel because he was there as well. Super helpful as I haven't actually planned out what I will be doing on my vacation, just where I am going.But, at least I will be safe :) Prices are OK, and good thing that some things last for many years, so I guess I am saving money this way.. I called multiple places and they are all around the same. But they had everything there, so I didn't need to run back and forth from the pharmacy to the doctor's office to get my needles.

Travelling smart and staying safe is the key to a good trip. It pays to consult an experienced travel medicine doctor like Dr. Weiner who is the first choice of government and NGO professionals. Prompt, knowledgeable and always up-to-date -- at a great price. Lorne has worked in travel medicine for decades and has travelled extensively himself - 70 countries and counting. Dr Weiner has been my doctor since 1991 and he is caring, conscientious and has a great sense of humour. Highly recommended!

Dr. Weiner himself is great; very friendly, funny, and a great listener. As a patient I felt very comfortable.However, his receptionist is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever dealt with on the phone; she was extremely condescending and aggressive in response to a simple question of having a prescription renewed.Due to this issue, I DO NOT recommend that anyone goes to this clinic. Dr. Weiner should take more time in hiring more considerate and empathetic receptionists.

I am a longtime patient of Dr. Weiner's and I can tell you that he's a kind and caring doctor. I trust his judgement. He is very well traveled and is very knowledgeable. The wait times are short, and the staff is very friendly. A real gem in downtown Ottawa!

I'm very pleased with the downtown travel medicine clinic. My visit before my holiday to Asia went well, Dr. Weiner is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I was referred via a friend and will return for my next overseas trip.
