Ignite Dance Center

My daughter has danced for 7 years - 5 at an old studio and the last 2 at Ignite. I cannot put into words, how thankful we are for Ms Rosie and Ms Leslie and the new environment they have created. We started with Ignite the year they opened and it has been the most amazing experience for us ever since. Not only are Rosie and Leslie unbelievably skilled choreographers and instructors - but they are also human: kind, caring, compassionate, understanding, patient - I could go on. They have made the studio a family, a place that we are always welcomed and happy to be a part of unlike the cold, sterility we have experienced elsewhere. Words can't describe how thankful we are to have them not only as a new business in our neighbourhood but as a part of our daughters everyday life where they encourage, parent, engage, teach and love her like their own. Thank you both. Words are not enough.

Not professional at all. After the year end show it’s even more disappointing because the show and their dance movements were so bad. My child learnt nothing, it is a really bad experience putting her in this dance center. Would not recommend

Our daughter started dancing at Ignite the moment it opened with some summer workshops and went into classes in the fall. Ignite has been so good to all of the dancers, especially throughout the pandemic to keep everyone dancing despite the often changing regulations set by the province. The owners have revamped their offering multiple times in order to make sure everyone can continue dancing in a safe way. Happy to support this local small business!

I am having so much fun taking an adult tap class at Ignite Dance Center! My daughter took some summer classes when the studio first opened and loved it, so we both signed up for fall classes. I cannot believe how well the owners Rosie and Leslie have adapted to the changing environment throughout the pandemic. Whether it is in studio or online, both my daughter and I cannot wait for our Tuesday classes.

We have been very happy with Ignite Dance Studio. The teachers are inspiring, the facility is beautiful, and the owners are supportive of the parents and their students. Last year's year end performance was very professionally done. We are looking forward to the next one!

So happy that South Surrey now has a new dance studio. The owners and instructors have done a great job at creating a fun and energetic safe place for dancers to Ignite their passion for dance. Even though the studio is still new, there are many years of experience behind the choreographers in the lower mainland. I would highly recommend this studio.

As an adult it's scary to start something new. when I was looking for an Adult Tap Class, a friend's recommended Ignite Dance Center. from first contact I knew I was welcome no matter my level of experience and talent. One Season under my belt, I'm now taking three Adult Classes and challenging myself in this Welcoming, Supportive Environment. The Instructors have become more than just Teacher/Student - They are Dance-Family

Ignite dance center has welcomed our family with open arms and hearts. Growing up as a dancer myself, and now watching my daughter enter the same exciting world, I’ve never experienced such a warm, inclusive studio environment. The way the older dancers mentor and encourage the younger ones provides such a positive mentorship and my daughter has made so many life-changing relationships already, in the time we have been attending the studio.Each instructor and choreographer truly excels at their own style(s) of choreography, and in their interactions to teach, love and support their dancers. Watching their routines and dancers win countless awards through various competitions during the season led to so many happy and proud celebratory moments among everyone.Thank you to the families, the dancers and most of all, the staff at Ignite- we are so happy to have joined your dance family!
