Deer Island Ferry
Oh man, if you pay taxes, take advantage of this ride! Part of the federal highway, this 20 min open water trip through beautiful little islands to Deer Island is a must do. Equipped with a bathroom (there’s buttons in the wall you press to flush - had to learn that by asking around so you’re welcome) and the chance to walk around, you can’t beat the views and seeing the incredible currents up close. 100% part of the “when people come to visit” tour - add this to your list.Also, make sure to order ahead at the Oceanview takeout and the ferry is a great place to do it on.

Very nice to see. Top it with a beautiful view on the ferry to get here. So if you are looking to see nature and its beauty this place has that. There was no physical fun to do activities if you were for something for children to do.

Nice and free of charges but dies not run over night keep that in mind last one from island to land at 10 pm and 10.30 pm from land to island

Great ferry ride. Ferry runs every 30 mins with few exceptions and it's free. Beautiful views of sunset and nice scenery all around. Ferry ride takes 20 mins.

Runs all days in a year from 6 am to 10 pm. Beautiful view, nice staffs and on time. Overall a great experience

It was a really nice ferry and a great ride over. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to go from island to island. We were glad to see the island.
