Ignore the bad reviews!! Written by animal activists that have never even been to the farm. I have been there and it is a nicely run family owned farm.My sister and I have gotten a few whole pigs from them and it is always Amazing! If you are considering getting a half or whole pig, just go for it! You will want a small deep freeze to hold the delicious meat ☺️

It’s an incredible product. Family owned and operated without a storefront so prepare to put in some extra work, but it will be worth your trouble

The Gelderman family provides a fantastic service. Their meat is delicious (some of the best bacon in the province!). If you're able to make the journey to the farm, I highly recommend it (call and order ahead). We've transitioned to buying most of our food directly from farmers and Gelderman's provides a great experience. Call ahead, place your order and pick up a nicely packaged box of goodies when you arrive. A great farm to table experience, more so in these COVID-stressed times.P.S. Don't pay attention to the negative ratings and reviews from vegan activists. This is a pork farm - one of the best on the West coast. Obviously, those who cannot eat the product, have nothing to review.

I wish I could say something good about my experience with this farm. I placed an order for an entire pig end of june and had a pick up date of August 10 . I included my wife in the email chain (we are living apart) and as soon as I did that the communication with me stopped, but continued with her. I emailed them 4x on the 10th asking about my order they never replied or acknowledged me. They did however respond to my wife immediately and told her her half order was ready. I have phoned and left a message and again no reply or acknowledgment. Very poor customer service. Actually non-existent. I have placed an order with a different farm and the response and customer service is heads and tails above Gelderman.... Not sure what the deal is but Jerry shouldn't be allowed to deal with customers. My advice. Go elsewhere.... Anywhere but here.

Been ordering half and whole pigs from this farm for a few years now. Audrey is always a pleasure to deal with and the pork supplied is of great quality. I'm bit bummed I can't get organ meats due to their butchering circumstances, but otherwise very happy with the meat provided. Don't pay any attention to the strange negative reviews, most of those came from very militant vegans who haven't even dealt with the farm and have a bone to pick.

Excellent, consistently great pork. Been buying their pork for 4 years now and everything has been perfect. Perfect amount of fat, delicious tasting meat.

We ordered half a pig. The service was wonderful and the meat is fantastic. I will definitely be ordering regularly. We e-transfered them and when called upon arrival it was right out side. No contact as per covid-19.
