The whole process with Peida Yang was done in a very clear and objective way. Windsor LaSalle team answered all my questions quickly and kindly. Special mention to Mike Scott who went above and beyond during the process. I have no doubt that our next business will be as comfortable as the last one.

Rate went up 18% over last year, no tickets no violations, no nothing.Terrible customer service, no explanations for the price hike.So I proceeded to call TD insurance and got 80 off per month. I'll be finalizing my switch over on Monday.I strongly suggest pricing other companies before settling with allstate, unless you enjoy paying more for the same coverage and deductible.

After discovering that I was paying over $400 more per year than needed, I began the process of switching companies. When I cancelled with Allstate, I dealt with someone over the phone, and via email. I did not want any headaches so while my credit card was still on file I asked the rep to please make sure any cancellation fees or anything I needed to pay was charged there and taken care of.A month later I get a letter in the mail informing me that I owe $32 and if I do not pay within 30 days, they will send me to collections.The $32 is not important by any means. The fact that I checked three times (over phone calls and emails) with this rep and even have an email response from said rep, stating I do not owe anything at all, and that the account is considered balanced, as well as cancelling days before my next payment date, is.Calling today to try to figure out what this is was also no help. I was told it's a cancellation fee, and that I can take payment from you now

Service is good but it takes several minutes to contact by phone since they are busy with other clients.

Edit: sent an email to them as per their responce below but no response yet.Had a good rate at the beginning of my term and when I decided to get another car my premium went to the roof. They charged me as if I am getting two different insurances. I got much better deals from another company so decided to cancel my premium. They charged me a lot of money. At the beginning of my term they had one month deposit that is refundable at the end of my term or at cancelation (this what their agent said to convince me at that time). When I canceled the agent said that this deposit was part of the fees they took to cancel my premium. Got to know this only after cancellation. Very poor communication and transperancy. Won't recommend it to any one I know. The company I had before were very clear and honest with the cancellation fees but All state is mony stealer. Took the money without declaring the details.I got a very clean driving history and has been paying them for nothing and on top of that they took a lot of extra money for cancellation. They got more than $285 cancellation fees wich is more than payment for one month.

Sold me OCPF 43 insurance stating it would totally replace vehicle. Jan 21 had a near death accident totalled vehicle due to weather. Offered 45000 on a 80-90000 truck and when I declined it adjuster accused me of trying to profit from an accident that to this date has not been paid out for vehicle or time off I suffered due to injury. Now before the courts a year and half later. These people are absolute fraudsters. Seen this reply got a call but no follow up on issue so far just more time wasted, stay away use at own risk

Very poor people skills... plus rushing customer of the phone if they don't know how to help you. Especially if they may have made a mistake on a claim's plus not even investigating a claim that was not at fault in a rental but the insurance company allstate puts it under your personal vehicle Vin # carfax... really...? Honda delivership told me this because i was try to get new car for next spring. And they said that i have 2 accidents on my car that i dont know abut... how!? Is this possible.

This agency has long wait times on the phone. Their consultants take nearly 40 min to pick up the phone. And when they do, they are useless in helping the very clients they do gladly signed. So if you want to get a new policy, you will get their attention but beyond that, you will not be able to get any help.

I Canceled my renters insurance... they proceeded to jacked up my car insurance rates higher then the both of them would have been together... for months after they kept charging me for not only the higher car insurance. They kept charging me for the renters insurance separately... now I've been waiting months for my reimbursement. That still hasn't showed... would not recommend allstate to anyone! (Updated. was contacted by the owner of allstate that things have been passed on... still haven't had any contact with anyone else regarding the matter.) Don't deal with this company 8 months now because of a their screw up.

I am posting on behalf of my elderly mother, a 20+ year customer with Allstate. Due to her health my mom had to give up driving in May 2021. Since then we have attempted to cancel her auto policy TWICE through the LaSalle Allstate office, only to discover it is still active!!! Had to call the National customer care line to finally cancel it today. Multi-billion dollar company took my mom for nearly $700 and say they can’t refund her the money she lost due to their error... disgusting. Don’t trust these people at the LaSalle office with your money... useless!
