Unresponsive and lack of empathy for stress this is causing for potential water damage. And now too late for warranty.

I had high hopes for my EQ home but the experience has turned into a nightmare. If you are considering purchasing,I would highly suggest you reconsider. This is not my first home or new build home so I understand what homeownership entails. My last home was with a builder with a “bad” reputation. The finish work, craftsmanship and attention to detail of that company far exceeds EQ. All I can say is thank goodness for Tarion warranty, money well spent. How EQ deals with multiple ongoing issues within the home continues to be unsatisfactory. Fool me once #neveragainEQ

I bought a bungalow townhome in Riverwalk. EQ (and any of their representatives) have been nothing but accommodating throughout the process. In fact, went above and beyond when I had an issue installing my dishwasher when I moved in. Minor issues which are currently being addressed but overall very pleased with quality of work, design and client service of their representatives. Thank you for my new home!

Our experience since our starting to shop for a new home has been impressive. From the first visit to the experience center to the final stages of the build have been great. The communication strategy keeps us informed at every step so we don't have to guess at anything.The trades are very respectful of our new home and treat it as if it was theirs. The staff at eQ have all been welcoming and attentive to every question we have had. We have built with other builders before and I must say, eQ is very well organized and methodical in their approach, leaving nothing to chance.We truly look forward to moving into our new home two months from now.Thanks eQGuy and Cindy Marcotte

Every step of the process with EQ Homes has been wonderful. The representatives are all very lovely to deal with. One thing that we have really enjoyed is that after every step of the construction, drywall wall up, mechanical put in etc. We received updates!! I would definitely recommend WQ Homes!!!

We feel we are being generous with two stars. EQ completely lacks in customer service. This is our third new build and the first two were a charm compared. We are not unhappy with the house, EQ builds nice homes, if you don't consider the state of our inside walls. So two stars to the buying process and afterwards, and mostly deserved by our designer at the design centre, who was great. EQ is caught in this sell/deliver madness and is unable to follow through once you get your house. We are still spending our own money to fix things while we wait. We had another heat vent put in the floor, were freezing all winter (one of our vents was mistakenly covered. December move in, and late April, we are still waiting). Finally getting shower enclosure installed today. Still can't get our built-in fridge delivered, the kitchen company seems unable to provide the necessary fridge panels for a kitchen that went in early November. We are paying plumber to put laundry tub in basement, electrician to put electrical so there can be a light fixture in stairwell (Willow buyers add it at design) etc. Meanwhile, we are still waiting on shower fixtures and the list goes on. If only EQ would pay attention to customer service after sale, they could stand there as a good builder.

EQ Homes is a very different builder. If you have gone through the process of a new build in the past, you know how stressful the process is. EQ does a better job than other builders in our experience at setting expectations and answering questions in a timely manner throughout the process. They have a concierge assigned to each project and they are there to help you through the process once the build of your home has begun. Their team overall is excellent from the sales team, to the design centre team, to their site supervisor and the concierge! No builder is perfect but the EQ Homes team does an outstanding job managing the build and delivery process with you.I wanted to add a one year update: after one year of being in our home built by EQ, we continue to be impressed by their professional attitude and their follow-up! If you’ve ever bought a newly constructed home before (we have), you know that most builders shy away from any issues post delivery but the customer service team at EQ Homes is fantastic and ensure issues we reported are handled and fixed.

Very responsive they provide the best and greatest customer service, prices on point they look at clients as family, my clients are very happy with the products. different than other builders, dealing with this builder they make the transaction very smooth. I wish every builder had professional staff like EQ.

New home buyers stay away from Eq homes. Alot of my neighbours have the same problem. I bought a townhouse and the amount of issues with the flooring, grading, roof, missing items or uninstalled items was way to much. I had high hopes for EQ. They have very high attrition rate among their reps, I am now on 4 th concierge in 6 months. Any issues mentioned on pre delivery or 30days are still unfixed after 6 months after countless emails. The contractor they hire cause more damage than fixing. Stay away from EQ.
