What a great hands on experience learning about Saskatchewan in the early days. Fantastic place to visit and I highly recommend stopping rather than driving past. You won’t be disappointed.$10 for adults and worth every penny. I learned a lot and appreciate and respect what the early settlers had to endure. Very strong people.

Western Development Museum (WDM) - North Battleford
Went to both the Sakatoon and the North Battleford locations of the Western Development Museum - each had a focus on different aspects and were well worth the visit. The North Battleford location had an incredible outdoor village which was amazing to explore! And my son got a scavenger hunt to complete to win a prize. It was one of the cleanest, most well run museums I've ever been to. Truly worth the visit!

An educational walk into Saskatchewan's past. Both inside and outside exhibits that creatively display the history of the province. Definitely worth visiting.

Lots to see, especially if you love seeing older buildings and agriculture equipment. I will be back for sure. Just make sure to go when the weather is decent.

Very impressive, a lot bigger than I thought. Definitely make a whole day out of it and not just an afternoon. Kinda wish more of the houses were accessible but it was amazing to see what we could

It’s been years since taking a tour here as a child now with my own children we took the time to walk through all the things to see and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Just seeing all the history like a time capsule really have my kids the experience of actually being there in its hay days. The train and small set up with post office law office and many other great exhibits were so fun along with some small family homes to walk through. Definitely a must do with the family.

A great place to learn about our area's past. So many informative and nicely set up displays inside, and the the very cool old buildings and set ups outside. Well worth the $10 entry. The gift shop has some cool and interesting stuff too.

Very interesting to see your around the town layout. It was very nice to have so much access to the buildings. The access is even better than larger places like Heritage Village/Park in Calgary. Would have liked more access to the steam engine and elevator, but still interesting. Very nice art available for sale in the entry, and very pleasant staff.

One of the best museums in Saskatchewan!So much to see indoors and outdoors. Almost all buildings were open to view, with the exception of 2.Incredibly clean and well kept, lot of parking, picnic areas and very reasonable rates. Great friendly staff!Easily spent 2 hours walking to all the buildings and going in! Well worth the time!
