Vaughan Towing

The price they gave me over the phone was completely different than what they charged me. From $125,00 it went to $216 when the driver came. After I complain they charged $176,00 to drive my car away 10km. In the end the driver asked my phone and put 5 stars rate for them on his own then asked me to write something good about them. That was too unprofessional

I am very disappointed with this company. I feel I have been completely taken advantage of. I needed a battery boost on an extremely cold day and was put on a waiting list. Another company that I had been waiting for responded to my urgent need first. I had been waiting for over an hour for this company, I called them immediately when I no longer needed their services. I then discovered they charged me $145 for being on a list even though a driver had never been dispatched to my call. They refuse to help or refund money even though zero services were rendered. Extremely disappointed.

Called to inquire rates and had them send a tow truck for my broken down car and it took them 2 hours. Made the order at 9:30 am, Got a call at 10:10am from the driver stating it would be 20 to 40 minutes then at 11:30 am get a call to say that he is on his way that I could be waiting another 15 minutes. I missed my appointment with my mechanic which made me wait another day to get my car fixed. If you have all the time in the world I would recommend but if you need a quick tow don't call them you'll be waiting for hours. Rates are better than others but I guess the saying you get what you pay for " goes perfectly with my experience."

Do not use!!!! It's better to push your bike. I put 1 star becuase i can't put zero. I was so angry at their service that I didn't want to write about my experience as its easier for me to forgot about it but one day later im still angry and need to let everyone know. Your flat bed driver was late and didn't apologize (but charges you for ever $5 for every minute you take up his time) Asked me too basically push the bike on to the flat bed. What was the worst part of it was I asked how much the service was. He shows me text saying it cost $85 + 65-95 . How he read it was $85+65+95 for $245. I was quoted by the call center for $85+65 and free 10 km. My tow was 7.2km. While driving to the destination I called the call center and was quoted $85+65 to 95 depending on how hard the tow was. I pushed it on the tow truck. I explained to the driver what the call center said and told me to basically f off said for every min I don't pay him he charges $5 dollars. He won't take credit card only cash. And then after calling the call center said call the cops I'm taking your bike. After witnesses basically made him stop and speaking to the call center who said he (the driver) is experienced and knows his stuff and I don't (basically he said you have no choice) and will charge me accordingly he took 190 cash no receipts and made me push the bike off the truck with a bystander that watching this happen. I got a call the next day saying we will investigate into the matter after I sent them a review. 3v days later. ..nothing.

If I could give this company no stars I would. Very unprofessional. Called them at 12pm to get my car picked up. They said they had a driver available. Took the money out of my account in less than 5 minutes, it’s now 5:30pm and the car hasn’t even been picked up. The first time I called they said it will take 40 minutes. 40 minutes went by and no body showed up. It’s been hours. And every time I call they keep saying 20 minutes. Worse company ever.

They charged my VISA $129 even after I cancelled my request for tow truck service. I called them back requesting a refund, but instead they charged my VISA $129 AGAIN. I've been calling and calling to get my refund. They keep telling me it's the tow truck driver who has to process the refund. I've asked multiple times for the tow truck driver STEVE to give me a call back to resolve this but it's been 3 days and he still hasn't bothered to call me back. I believe this is a scam and he just wants to pocket the money. DO NOT give this company your credit card information. I'm now going to have my bank handle this for me.

The guy that helped me tow my car was very nice and helpful! He made it the best price that he could offer and was genuinely friendly! I would most definitely call them again for assistance!

This company literally saved the day. Driver arrived within 15 minutes, super quick and got the job done in a minute. Very professional, quick and affordable as well. Would definitely recommend

I wouldn't even give this company one star if it wasn't required. My car was stuck in a ditch and I called Vaughan Towing and the person I was speaking to said the driver will be calling me right away to tell me when he was coming. He never called and showed up 35 minutes later. When he came, he made no attempt to get the car out of the ditch. He just pulled up and said he couldn't do it and left. I called the comany and they said they would contact the driver and call me back. They never called me back. It was freezing outside as it was the first snow fall for the year. A few hours later I see that my card was charged $89.27 for a service I never recieved. When I called to find out why I was charged and demanded I have my money returned, he said that was not possible and offered me a discount" instead. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have been robbed $89.27 for a service I never received and I still had to pay another tow company to get my car out."

Horrible service! Makes you wait for half an hour with no response after taking your credit card information. They don't even tell you if the tow truck is coming or even if the tow truck has been dispatched. Tells you that the tow truck will give you a call shortly after you hang up. They have taken your credit card information, you are on the side of the road at an area that you have never been before and you dont even know if the help that you called is coming or not. No phone call, or no update for half an hour! Finally after half an hour of guessing and hoping that they dispatched somebody and the tow truck calls and says its coming only now and gonna be another 20 to 30 mins but it actually takes another hr to arrive. So they weren't even dispatched. They even have the guts to tell you 'lady it's the weekend, people are waiting for 2 hours!' Like I should be glad that they made me wait for an hour and half. Even if it takes 2 hrs, couldnt he take responsiblity and say im sorry, i know its taken awhile and I will try to be thete shortly. But no, they have no care or consideration for their customers time and worry. I called this place because they were only 10 mins away from where my car stopped. I even asked about the estimated time of arrival before I booked it as I was running late for work, they assured me the tow truck will contact you right away. I really wish they told me how long it would take so that I can take better action than relying on them. If they didn't have that non refundable charge of calling and cancelling, I would ve stopped a tow truck on the road when they pass by. At least, would have been a lot faster and wouldn't waste my time like them.
