My kids come here to play at the climb park. The staff are absolutely amazing. They’re always giving the kids tips and tricks to go faster or make it to the top! They definitely help build their confidence, I can see this every time we come.

A wonderful community of people. Everyone is welcome and they are happy to ease your first time jitters.The courses they provide are worth the money and the instructions are impeccable. I'm very happy I chose to start here. Sean was a great teacher and very patient with us. I would highly recommend him.

Great for those who love climbing, newbies and professionals alike. A general fun activity for groups or individuals, kids and/or adults. There are facilities for each grade of climbers as well as staff to guide you through if you are a total newbie. The staffs are very helpful and nice.

My son goes to climbing club/camp on Tuesday evenings. The staff of friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. My son felt safe and encouraged. The kids climbs had great variety and were fun! The facility is clean and brightly lit.

Such a fantastic, bright facility. Tons of variety, and a friendly and helpful team who genuinely seem to care about your experience and progress.My daughter did Nanos for a couple years and then progressed to JCC when she turned 9. The coaches are awesome. She always has a great time.This place is so welcoming and has many options for beginners right up to complex climbs for advanced climbers. Check it out!!

Calgary Climbing Centre Hanger
Really cool design for a rock climbing gym and plenty of auto belays for if you’re climbing alone. I switched to this place while stronghold is closed but be warned, they have LOTS of birthdays and other events happening here all the time time and the parking lot is tiny

I haven't tried it myself yet, but my son absolutely loves it. It's a great way to exercise without feeling like you're not getting anywhere (sometimes a basic gym is more difficult to get motivated for). They have a wide variety of difficulty levels, lessons, and plenty of options for all ages. I wish we had introduced him to this years ago. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. One word of caution is that the parking in front is very limited, they do have additional parking around back of you need it.

Great experience for young and old. The learn to climb programs for kids is a huge hit with my daughter. When she is done a session, she looks worn out but is beaming from ear to ear.
