Every step was pleasant. From the receptionist, the live in kitty and all of the vet techs. Not one complaint.

We dropped our son-in-law and his dog here. The little dog loves this place, always excited to visit because the staff are friendly and competent. The sign by the door says Fear Free Zone" and it surely applies for this dog!"

Wonderful, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone with a furry family member.

We have been using this vet since we moved here in 2016. Always great service and kindness. Until, I called the front desk and was connected with Beth office receptionist. Very very rude and then when I called the following week hung up on me twice and still rude lol. Anyway, the only reason we are coming back is because the rest of the staff are amazing so hopefully this was just a fluke. But if I wasn’t a repeat customer I would never return.

I had mixed feelings about this doctor. She's very compassionate and kind but she's also very limited. Aside from orthopedic surgery she didn't have any suggestions for my dog. Her suggestions for medications didn't make sense at all because they didn't help with the pain. She's at the point now where really the only thing to do is keep her comfortable and this doctor is not helping with that. The only thing she was willing to prescribe was an anti-inflammatory. My dog has a torn ligament. She stated that there was a 50-50 chance she would recover from surgery. Obviously, those odds are terrible. I still want to do it but I have no money. The whole situation is breaking my heart.

After moving to Maine with my boyfriend and our cat, I knew we would need to find a good local vet. After asking around at my job for recommendations, I was pointed to Freeport Veterinary Hospital. Right off the bat I loved their no-fear practice, and appreciated how cats were kept to one side of the waiting room while dogs were on the other. My cat Toby is quite timid, so an excited dog bouncing about would make him quite distressed. Once we adopted Bailey from the ARLGP, we also took him here to be seen.Every vet we've met with has been attentive and informative. I always felt like they had my pet's best interests in mind, and were always gentle with both cats at all their appointments. I would highly recommend Freeport Vet to anyone in the local area looking for a friendly and professional environment for their fur-babies.

Dr. Radding and staff are amazing! They truly practice “fear free”. They are compassionate, flexible, and extremely patient. Communication is so easy and timely. We are so grateful to have found this practice.

Always the best service! We love the Fear Free practice and that they don’t charge us to see the vet when we just need shots. We also value that we can call/email with questions, which doesn’t immediately result in a visit! 10/10!

It was well organized and the lights were amazing. We're planning on coming back in the spring to see what the gardens really look like.
