ACME PHYSIO - Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage + Athletic Therapy Markham

Was referred to ACME Physio after sustaining an injury at work, and returned to the clinic again after a motor vehicle injury. Dr. Chan legit significantly improved my mobility/pain to get me up and moving again. His acupuncture and manual adjustments feel very satisfying. I never got relief from providers who just stroked my skin or wiggled my arm around. Dr. Chan really gets into the tissue and joints, does adjustments, and makes you feel better.I also started seeing Melisa for physiotherapy. I like how she spends a lot of time on manual therapy, teaches exercises that are actually fun and doable, and genuinely wants to see you improve.I’m an RN so I’m the one taking care of patients. It’s weird to have my role switched but from the patient perspective, I feel like Dr. Chan and Melisa have been incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive to me during my recovery. ACME is a great little hidden (literally) gem in Markham.

Great treatment plan and provides multiple options. Strict health and safety guidelines with respect to Covid protocols. Now able to submit insurance claims on your behalf to major benefit providers. I’ve been to many chiropractors and he is the one I come back to. Highly recommended.

I’ve known Dr. Alan Chan quite some time now and have recently become a regular at his clinic. He never fails to remain professional at all times but still maintains an approachability that I can guarantee many patients will appreciate. I never feel nervous about asking any questions regarding my body and anything that may be of concern whether it be mental or physical. Their website is clean and very intuitive - especially when it comes to booking an appointment. The staff at ACME are all extremely friendly and professional. They offer extensive treatment options and services that have helped me with various injuries as an athlete. The built in gym is also a plus! Would highly recommend this clinic. :)

I highly recommend acme physio! I came in with a shoulder injury that I had for years and had gotten way better after only 2 sessions with Alan and Kingsley. They are very knowledgeable and their treatment really works! Looking forward to coming in more.

I've found ACME through a Google search. I was skeptical at first but decide to give it a shot luckily I did. The staff at ACME are all wonderful people very polite and professional.I went here to receive treatment for my knee and Kingsley Wu who was my physiotherapist is very informative and also understanding. After a few session now my knee is almost like how it was before the injury. Highly recommend this clinic for your treatment.

Dr. Alan Chan has fully treated my knee pain that I had for many months. Prior to meeting him I could not walk without having to use a knee brace due to physical pain in the surrounding knee area. I have been to my own family doctor and other professionals with little to no help and was becoming so frustrated and almost gave up hope.I am so happy to have been recommended to ACME and I would highly recommend visiting ACME and seeing what they can do to help you on any physical recovery or refinements. The staff is also VERY friendly and I always feel welcome everytime. I am overall throughly impressed by the level of care and professionalism from the ACME team!

Dr. Alan Chan is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and is an exceptional chiropractor, RMT and acupuncturist combined. He genuinely cares about his patients and always strives to provide the best form of treatment to help them get back to their routine as safely and quickly as possible. ACME is a hidden gem, and I continue to go despite living outside the Markham area because I know I can expect a certain quality of care at every session.I usually see Melisa, the physiotherapist, for my knee pain. She has treated my knee with a variety of treatments, including manual therapy, acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and ultrasound. I can tell she is knowledgeable in her field by her detailed explanations, thorough assessments, and comprehensive suggestions to prevent future injuries. I leave my appointments with a better understanding of how my body works and what I need to do to maintain the longevity of my health.Melisa is also hilarious and personable yet professional. I can tell she genuinely cares about my well-being with her check-ins and her willingness to remember the small details of my past injuries/history. I tend to be a little more skeptical with health care professionals, but she has absolutely earned my trust.Without hesitation, I would recommend Melisa to anyone who is looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and personable physiotherapist who will make rehabilitation a little more enjoyable.
