Had the beef bibimbap and it was delicious! Decently sized portion, and an option for a non spicy sauce which was nice! Bibimbap came with soup and a side dish. Service was great but the location is small so at some times hard to catch the attention of the server but good overall. Friendly and quick. Small location though and parking wasn’t super easy to find. Probably not best for a large group but a really great place for lunch with a friend or two.

Great little place for some home cook style Korean food. The seafood pancake was crispy and seafood ingredients cooked perfect. The only problem was the pancake was thin so it’s hard to have a lot of seafood but I enjoyed the crispness. The fried chicken was pretty awesome though, and the pork belly really fills you up. The prices here are very reasonable. Definitely a local favourite. The service is a bit slow when it gets busy. I can’t blame the only server, however this is my only gripe because this place is awesome.

I’ve been here twice. You get what you paid for. Premium food at premium price. Yes, it’s a little expensive. But when it comes to sashimi, I dare not to try the cheap ones.

Cozy wee place with delicious food. They coped well for only having 1 server, 2 chefs and a full house. Ingredients were fresh, and the service was efficient. Would recommend for a casual Monday night meal!

This was my second visit to Joon’s Kitchen. Small location, but they keep the place spotless and well organized. The staff is very well trained, professional and helpful.I love their food! They made the food to perfection. I always go to their sashimi combo. All the ingredients are fresh and got delicate touches. I would love to recommend kimchi soup.Overall, Joon’s kitchen is a perfect cozy neighbourhood restaurant. I would highly recommend Joon’s Kitchen, and you won’t be disappointed!!

Japanese / Korean food and simply amazing! I always leave feeling so happy. Great value food in a relaxed atmosphere. The sweet soy fried chicken, Korean pickles, and the super fresh raw seafood are my favorite. Thank you Chef and staff!

I don't want too many people finding out how good this place it so that is stays in this small space in my neighborhood. It can get busy. The food is delicious. Traditional Korean and beautiful sushi art. Top quality ingredients.

Great location for Japanese/Korean fusion food!Tried the lunch boxes which came with fresh sashimi/sushi and abundant side dishes. Prices are very affordable whereas quality is great!

This place is a gem that has tasty food, fresh ingredients and priced very competitively despite being in one of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in the GVRD.The reason for the 4 and not 5 stars is because of the rice.Our rices were excessively soggy and over steamed in the rice cooker.This would not deter us from becoming a returning customer but rice is critical in Asian cuisine.We will return for the seafood pancake alone as it is - in my opinion - one of the top 3 best seafood pancakes in town.
