TDM construction.I toltly recommended this company to anyone that needs any equipment work done. I found them to be honest and respectful. They work fast in a safe manner. And are toltly worth calling for estimates.

I was referred to this company by a mutual friend to deliver top soil, grade it and lay down sod that I was purchasing. The owner quoted me $520 for the top soil and $80/hour for tractor/backhoe work which took four hours total for grading. The sod was laid down in the span of roughly nine hours over the course of two days. No other price was quoted or verified with myself other than the top soil delivery and the cost of the grading with a tractor and/or backhoe. To my surprise two days after the job was done I received a text message quoting a final cost of $3800 cash or $3417 plus HST. The individual actually laying down the sod (labourer according to invoice) had never performed this type of work and I needed to guide him as to how it is done, this cost was established at $75/hour for a total of twelve hours. I was then charged $100 each for a rental of a wheel barrel and a grass roller which is odd for an excavating company, the wheel barrel at the least especially that the wheel barrel was brought by the labourer as he was thankful that I called him to inform him that he had forgotten it and he had someone pick it up the next day. I was then charged $975 for transporting extra sod that was missing to complete the job but was never told the cost even though I asked the labourer and was told that it would be billed accordingly. I was also charged $150 (this was billed as $75/hour for two hours) for a small bag of grass seed that was spread in about five minutes as I have a camera and motion detector system that records all activity on my property. This contractor seemed to have taken advantage of my good will in trusting his pricing as he never mentioned costs of claims of rental equipment, cost of sod transport, and inflating work hours. I ended up paying more than $1200 than if I had waited until the end of June to have another contractor do the work for $4000 including the cost of the sod as TDM Construction was not responsible for the cost of the sod which I paid for at $1550. Make sure to get a full quote from this company as all the extra costs were never detailed to me, I only received them on the final invoice. The quality of the work is also lacking as the trim of the sod around my interlock is not well defined and I had to perform most of the clean up of my driveway and interlock.

Would definitely recommend this company to others. They work around the clock to fit your needs in and make sure the job is done and done right.Very happy with the work I have done with TDM!
