Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures
This was our second adventure with Moondance and our first overnight. The adventures sell out really fast and though we tried to reserve the day the email came out, we weren't fast enough. Moondance made an adventure for us and quickly 2 other couples jumped on as well. Casey was our guide and he was personable, highly knowledgeable, helpful and a lot of fun as well. We would definitely do this again and highly recommend Moondance. This photo is from your sunset kayak off Cypress Island.

Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures
What a wonderful kayak trip! We did the half-day trip, and our guide Dom was so kind. She explained everything about setting up our kayaks and getting our gear on. She talked about animals and plants (including quite a bit about edible seaweed!). And she made us feel so comfortable. We had a great time exploring the shore and Chuckanut Island. I highly recommend this excursion.

Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures
Our guide on the Lummi Bay tour was wonderful! Dominique was thorough in her explanations of all the equipment and demonstrations of the safety procedures for our tandem kayak before we left shore. She explained about currents and tides, and was knowledgeable about the marine life in the bay. On our tour we saw harbor seals, sea cucumbers and two different kinds of sea stars, eagles and herons. Our lunch was fresh and delicious. The day we spent with Moondance Kayak Adventures was very pleasurable!

Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures
The trip was quite fun! The trip leaders had everything organized, and pampered us from the start. The lunch was great, with vegan options no problem. The running commentary about the geologic features and creatures we saw as we paddled was enriching and uplifting. And we had quiet paddling too, at all the right times. Thanks Moondance!

We had a wonderful experience kayaking with Moondance! The team was knowledgeable and excited to be there. We did the 3 hour excursion and it was the perfect amount of time to be on the water. We will definitely be back with our friends and family in the future - would recommend!

Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures
This was an amazing 3 day paddling excursion including Guemes, Cyprus and Strawberry San Juan Islands. The natural beauty and wildlife were extraordinary. The guides were attentive, hardworking, informative and FUN! I heartily recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys camping and paddling. I thoroughly enjoyed the paddling, yoga, great food and other group members. Thank you Moondance!

Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures
I went on an overnight trip with Moondance in the San Juan Islands and had an unforgettable experience. I have very little experience kayaking and felt slightly nervous doing something outside of my comfort zone but was very pleased with Kristi's expertise. She was very patient while teaching me all the basics and I also felt extremely safe with her leading the way. Her staff is top notch and professional and they all drop little nuggets of nature knowledge throughout the day! It really is a unique way to explore new, or known, territory. I would highly highly recommend Moondance to anyone, both new to kayaking, and those with experience.

Magical half day trip! We took our nieces (age 7 and 9) and it was wonderful. Very clear website and instructions. Equipment was great and easy to use. Our awesome guide gave us tons of information about sea life, tide currents and local history. We got to see seals!! Can't wait to take the family back again.

Moondance Sea Kayak Adventures
We had an awesome sunset kayak with Moondance. Our group was large and a few arrived a little late but the guides were flexible and understanding. They adapted the trip to us and made it one of the best nights of our trip. The guides told us about the area and we’re very knowledgeable while also fun and interesting to talk to! We would definitely recommend them and will be back to do a multi-day trip sometime in the future!
