Sparrow Hair

We booked Sparrow hair for our wedding day, and also did a pre-day-consultation with them. Booking was easy, quick and pleasant.Mel worked with us at the consultation and on the wedding day. She was thorough, quick and very good at her job. Bonus is that she is also the sweetest person ever, and as I was growing ever more nervous on the wedding day she helped me out with some yoga breaths and kind words. She did my hair, my maid of honors hair, our flower girls hair (with a flower crown), as well as the grooms mustache. We all looked splendid thanks to Mel. She arrived on time, brought all the things needed to work her magic, and worked around all the pre-wedding morning stress with a smile. I could not have been more pleased with her, or Sparrow Hair!

Makiko did my wedding hair this summer and she did an incredible job! She was so much fun and we hit it off as soon as I met her for my trial. She was flexible and found time to meet with me around my super busy schedule. She managed to do everyone's hair right on schedule and even was able to add in two extra people! She came very well prepared and I appreciated how she could go with the flow. I would highly recommend her for any event hair!!

Makiko is so patient and efficient with our little Leo. Great job always and just the best group of stylists here in general. Been going here for a very long time and have seen pretty much everyone for family cuts - you can't go wrong!

I wish to write a comment in support of Parampeet. I was in the salon at the time of the incident having my hair done by Nicole (fabulous colour and cut by Nicole, very happy!)I wasn't aware of the context to the situation at the time, I just remember the male member of staff abruptly and rudely yelling at a customer. He was angry about her being in his personal space. The female customer was calm and reasonable in her response, and was saying something like I just want to support my sister". He forced her to move away and she backed off to the waiting area and was clearly distressed. The incident caused a hush in the salon for a while. I was shocked about two things... First that he would speak to her that way when a different tone would have been more appropriate

Went in for a trim and got what I wanted. My last haircut at a different establishment was so terrible. It's nice to have my hair back the way I like it.

I booked Sparrow Hair for my March wedding in a Fernie and they did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and the hair for my bridesmaids and moms. Makiko and Stacey were so kind and lovely to spend the morning of my wedding with! Cannot recommend highly enough!!

What a great place to get rid of old year's hair and freshening up for 2023. Just popped in on short notice, ran thru an very convenient appointment process and most of all had a great time chatting while cutting. If there would not be many other reasons - Sparrow’s alone would be reason enough to return to Fernie. And yes: that look! Great hair cut, not to forget!

Stacy is literally a god send. She took me into her salon with open arms when another hair stylist honestly did me pretty dirty on the hair front. I’m not her client, I literally walked into her salon and she graciously did what she could to fix my hair (I drove three hours for a different stylist at a different salon) she was so kind, wouldn’t accept my money and wouldn’t let me tip. I did however get to leave some money for a local charity instead. This salon Ans their staff are absolutely amazing people and I would 100% drive three hours to see her. Thank you Stacy
