My hard drive WD 4 TB USB bought in Costco fell to the floor. And I sent it to them for data recovery. They are located in Toronto and they do not have a local laboratory in the city of Calgary. They charged me $99 diagnostics and told me the price of $5,000. I refused. Then I started looking for local laboratories and found 4 local ones who told me the price for clicking hard drive of $1000-1500. And the saddest thing was if I had turned to them earlier when the hard drive would not have been opened yet! And since it has already been opened, the price is for opened drive $3000.
