Excellent Bank, they are very patient with customer care and know how to implement solutions and the bank tellers at the front are very polite with excellent service skills.I recommend this bank over most of the others.

The staff at this branch are very friendly and helpful. Meridian has the best rates for everything. I don’t like their shortened hours because you can’t always go during the week. Need to open on Saturdays. I have accounts with multiple banks and have had others over the years and credit unions are the best! I will say that the businesses should complain to the property manager about the grocery store parking and carts. It’s a mess.

Unfortunately this is the only location and branch close to me in Mississauga. I was doing Reno’s to my condo and went to the Port Credit Branch to take out some cash, I wasn’t given any issues and the employee said she would put a note on my account since I planned on taking more money out during the course of renovating. I went to the Erin Mills branch to take out money and was completely treated like a criminal. I was disgusted. I understand and can respect that they want to ensure I’m taking out the money and not someone else, however they have my drivers licence on file with my picture, which they made me provide to them. The employee also asked the manager to come out and she was asking questions like what the money was for and what I’m renovating. I was appalled. It is my money. I don’t need to explain why I’m taking it out and I was only taking out around $2,000.... not $50,000. I refuse to go to this location again and will be leaving Meridian. The following day I contacted the general phone number for Meridian, nothing was done, and no follow up was done with me. I’ll take my money where I’m respected and treated better.

So uninviting and unfriendly. Attempted to open a bank account here, they had time to do it but unfortunately didn't have my SIN. Came back 15 mins later and got refused to open an account with a decent bank draft ($) in hand. What bank refuses a potential customer from opening an account? We have dealt with CIBC, TD, RBC, etc and have never had a problem opening an account. And all these banks hire warm and friendly counter staff. Lost our business.

Terrible customer service. Please do not go to this bank especially if you are a senior. Branch manager Karen treats her customers of 40 years like a criminal. We have never seen such poor attitude with seniors. No respect. My mother is a senior of sound mind and Karen has no right to question why she needs money. It’s personal. All my mother wanted was a bank card to her accounts. She was put through the ringer.Julio might be the only one there with proper customer service.My dad would be disgusted with the treatment provided to my mother by Karen. We need to protect our parents from banks like this. Please take our warning about this branch.You treat people like you would want to be treated later in life. I hope Karen is treated the same way she treated my senior mother one day.ATTN TO REPLY: I emailed Meridian complaints two weeks ago with no response.

For anyone looking to get a pre-approval, please be aware that it takes Meridian a long time to be able to get one done. My wife and I were looking at purchasing and went to this branch, we had such a bad experience. They took over 3 weeks just to get back to us on the pre-approval and then sent us to a branch in Orangeville to get an approval done because they didn't know how to move our files from Orangeville branch to their own location. Also, I just found out that Meridian branches are like franchises and they are not all linked together which makes it more difficult to make changes to your account. They will always force you to go back to your original branch even though they are very close to where you live. Overall, we are not very impressed and we are a bit sour because we missed out on a home purchase opportunity thanks to delays caused by Meridian Erin Mills branch.

Awesome customer service. Friendly and anticipate your needs

It is amazing that a bank doesn't want your money.First it took months to get ahold of a person who I could make an appointment with to set up a business account. The part-time hours or less than convenient and when I finally was able to meet with a representative, he was dismissive and uninterested.I showed up with more than $10,000 in cheques to open a business account. The process was forcing me to open multiple accounts and commit to multiple sets of conditions. Uninterested in anything more than a business account, I was basically told to take my money to CIBC since I was already there client.Baby steps here guys. This account could have led to more, obviously you want my mortgage and all my money but with this first impression you will never see a cent.For a few dollars a month it is definitely worth the investment in the big Bank where their organization and professionalism allow you to focus on your business instead of wasting time chasing an institution that clearly isn't interested in working with their customers
