No bacon, no sausage, they say you can eat as much as you can but if you ask for more they try to dissuade you from doing so. They count the amount of napkins per person and roll their eyes if you ask for one more because their dentist cups to drink from are leaking water on the tables. Pas fort fort pour de quoi quon fait une fois par an.

Not impressed. Very nice server but the meal wasn’t good. Reservation was done easily online but so complicated when we got there. We ended up not being able to be all the group together because of mistakes. Disappointed.

We visited for the first time lady year & had a good experience, but this year was much differentFood was still delicious, however we weren't brought a drink menu like other tables, had ask for water & waited for 50 minutes for plates to be cleared & dessert to come but finally gave up because it never arrived & kids were tired of sitting around waiting. We won't be returning.

My wife and I were at La p'tite cabane on a Tuesday for lunch. There was only about 25 to 30 guests. The server was quite pleasant but the food, although plentiful, was somewhat disappointing. I was looking forward to ham cooked in maple syrup but we were served cold plain ham. The rest of the food was rather ordinary. The best part was the maple taffy. I didn't see maple products for sale other than syrup.

It was an amazing experience. The arribal of spring, marked by tapping of maple sap, boiling down into the heavenly syrup at these traditional Quebec cabane a sucre (Sugar shacks) is indeed very exciting. The traditional Quebec meal was equally satisfying. Must visit. :)

Reviews are often polarized by recent emotional engagements while providing little insight into what potential visitors may experience. I'll do my best to keep this thorough and accurate.3 stars because it's a chaotic mess to get in and get seated, but the food is amazing and service is quite acceptable. The food: it's this establishment's greatest strength. If you like pickles, this place rocked them. Pea soup was delicious but not a thick version, which I didn't mind. The omelette is HUMONGOUS and delicious. Fluffy, full of herbs and plentiful. Potatoes were the best Cabane a sucre potatoes i've ever had. They're not just boiled, but sauteed like breakfast taters. Tourtière were individual tartelettes which were original and hit every mark for a good meat pie. Beans were flavorful but salty. Ham was ordinary, no sausages were served, and the oreille de Christ were as expected, crunchy and salty fatness. It's all-you-can-eat but a single round was enough for our group of 4. Water is served in pitchers and you get a flimsy carton cup to drink. Not great. Coffee is okay. You get to order from the adjacent microbrewery and our IPAs were good. The parking: it's a mess. There's no dedicated markings, it's just a wide open dirt patch that gets muddy if there's rain and cars are stacked as they come. This causes quite a lot of confusion between two services as cars move in and out of the space. This wouldn't be too dramatic if a dedicated exit and entrance were identified, but instead, everyone funnels through the same gate. This overflows onto the road and will generate a traffic jam. Staff do their best but without markings and enough space for the crowd this place attracts, they're on their own. This alone could be enough to aggravate you to a point of ignoring how good the food is.Guest journey: You have to pay before you come, and then grab your ticket before you make your way to your table. The ticket stand is easy to miss as people crowd in front of the cabane. Once seated, the place is cramped. You might also be seated next to strangers if you're a smaller (less than 10) group. Once you're done, you exit to get your maple toffee in the back, but expect a line up. There are a few barn animals that'll keep you entertained for a whole 47 seconds and a horse drawn sled should you wish to visit the premises. The entertainment value of this place is thus pretty lack luster, but it's included in your price.Would I go again, probably not. Would I try a take out option? Absolutely, especially the pickles. What would draw me back? A renovated parking space with better traffic control and wayfinding.

Food was good, normal sugar shack menu.Service was okay, we feel ignored a couple of times. And got skipped on two items: bread and pancakes. We did mention it to the waitress, she acknowledged and never brought them. There's a mini farm where they allow you to hold baby rabbits if there were any. They have a bar and also horse carriage is available for a fee.

Cute country atmosphere. Food was terrible though. Burnt eggs and fried pigskin isn't the most appetizing. Also, their beer selection was missing many of their own brews.

Went there a couple of days ago. I never leave reviews. But I'll have to make an exception. ( I also should've read the reviews before going there! )This is the last time I go there. Service took forever.Food was scarce. Tiny bits here and there. I am not a big eater, I have a very small appetite, but at a certain point I had to ask for another serving since there wasn't enough for the 6 of us to share. I taught the lady was going to kit me out for disturbing her.Worst sugar shack experience.
