Costco Tire Center

Definitely not a good experience with the tire centre. St James location told me to go to the dealership. Regent was nice and helpful with buying the tires but when it came to the installation they were quite rude. I came in half hour early and they said they cannot take my vehicle in until the exact appt time and if I want to leave it sooner it could take up to 48 hours to get done because appts have priority. I was quite confused as I had an appt I was just a little bit early. Needless to say it was quite a stressful experience to get winter tires installed.

If zero was an option I would give them a zero. Do not trust them with your car or tires.I drop my car off 15 mins early like they ask for my appointment. They are supposed to be swapping the winter tires, putting the all season back on the rims. I sit there waiting for an hour and they don’t say a word to me. Then they finally ask which vehicle are you. And I say my vehicle they say oh it’s been done for awhile. So I ask you didn’t think to call or say so. You said you would call when done when I gave you my keys. Turned out there was a small puncture in a tire so they can’t change any of them! And best part they can’t tell you which tire has the puncture so you have to find it yourself. So complete waste of time. Worst part is they are 100% the ones you would’ve punctured it since they are the ones who took them off the rims to start and they haven’t been touched since. They then tell me my car is where I left it. I go looking and it’s not there. I go back inside and they say it’s parked along the wooden fence. Not there either. It’s parked a lane over but I finally found it on my own since they are all useless.And it gets even better. The lady beside me says she’s been waiting 2 hours and they aren’t changing her tires either. Can Regent Costco tire Center do anything right?

They have it set up to pay for propane refills at the tire center so you don't have to wait in the long line up for the regular check out. Brilliant adaptation to make things run smoothly.

I wont be using them in the future. They damaged my car and rims during the installation of new tires.The manager of the tire centre was supposed to call me back after a report was made. He not only never called me back but he avoids calls and does not return messages. Today I had a flat that needed repairing while at Costco to get my wheels re torqued and they refused to fix the tire because you have to make an appointment. Off to Kal Tire for a repair. Stay clear of this location.

Professional service. Knowledgeable person at the desk. I got the help I needed to decide what tires to buy and they were happy to repair a tire I had bought 2 years ago for free under warranty.Good price on replacement tires. Tire repairs are about $12 and they charge $20 to mount new Tires plus taxes etc.

I own a 2013 Ford F150. The door label showed the required tires are LT275/65R18 with a load index of 113. I ordered a set of 4- 275/65R18 - Blizzak winter tires with a load index of 114. The Blizzak tire is designed for light trucks and SUV's but do not say LT or P. But the load index exceeds the required load index. After a long awaited installation appointment (weeks), they said they would not install them on my truck because they were not LT tires. I tried to tell them that the load index exceeded the required index on the door, but they just kept saying I needed an LT tire. They would not hear logic. They are not well trained at all. Never again. Way too much hassle with long waits and poor knowledge.

Staff were a big help, though they need to have someone at the front desk taking care of calls. At least answering them. Otherwise you leave a message on thier phone and they will get back to you eventually.

Worse customer service.I have been dealing with this tire center for years, they never take phone calls and they never return calls.I had an appointment today at 3:45pm, then I was on time. Guest what, I found a least serving clients on line and she told me that althouht I had an appointment, I had to wait in the line. Unbelievable!I will never never recommend this tire center. The worse I have ever seen in winnipeg.

I normally don't write reviews, but this really pushed my button. Went in tonight for a set of 4 tires. Girl at counter name Kayla was rude and doesn't have a clue about customer service. If a customer does not know which tire is good for their vehicle they would not be at a tire shop to ask!!! Rude quick answers to brush me off. No suggestions when asking for specifics.I would not recommend coming here at all. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

I phonED the REGENT TIRE CENTRE 26 times in 3 months, different times during their working hours starting from their morning hours till their evening hours and surprisingly I never reached them and kept on saying they are busy so cannot get in touch. Like other stores are busy as well, why to keep a phone service if they cannot pick any phone calls anytime. In person service is good but their phone line is purposeless and you feel you have no choice other than just going in store to get your query resolved. VERY POOR PHONE SERVICE. A nasdaq listed company can find a way to at least pick customer calls, they. would definitely have money for that I am sure.
