The experience at Chartwell Park Place has been very positive in the placement and care of my wife. Jules professionally guided us through the process of selecting both accommodation and the necessary support services. Bonnie and her team quickly met Heather’s unique needs and continued to orient me in how to best support her. Each of the staff from the front desk to nursing and supportive roles to those in the dining room experience have helped ensure a smooth transition from home to supportive care. In today’s culture, it is common for consumers to rant when they have poor customer service. However, it is rare for consumers to acknowledge exceptional customer service (that isn’t in some random online survey designed to collect data!!) I felt compelled to comment on my recent interaction at Chartwell Park Place and the professional presentation I encountered on my tour of the facility.I was greeted by Chartwell Park Place Retirement Living Consultant, Ms. Jules Masset, who before I even entered the premises had a reserved parking spot close to the front door waiting for my arrival. Then, there was also a welcome sign personalized with my name on it as I entered the front lobby. This attention to detail before my tour even began had given me a positive feeling and set the tone for the entire visit.Searching for a retirement living arrangement for my Father is a very stressful time. He has always been independent, but now at the age of 93, requires more care and security in an assisted living environment. I reached out to book an appointment on short notice and Ms. Masset was able to accommodate my request to come in for a short introductory tour (as I had little time available that morning), even though her day was fully booked, she made the time to spend with me and review the premises.I was very impressed by her professional approach to answer all my questions and alleviate many of our initial concerns about our Fathers’ needs and care. Most importantly, her empathy when discussing the emotional impact this decision has on family and ultimately my Father. Ms. Jules Masset provided a comprehensive presentation along with her expertise in senior living, gave me the confidence that if Park Place care of it's residents is as good at Chartwell as this positive first impression made today, we should consider this as a viable option. Ms. Jules Masset was able to go beyond a typical sales pitch of the lease opportunities, to truly listen with such compassion and understanding and to build a trust level that Chartwell Park Place could be a potential fit for my Father. If this was one of those data collection surveys - I would give it a 5 star rating!

Working at Park Place was an amazing experience. Bonnie and Charlotte work very hard and always place residents as their first priority. Great environment and Top notch service!

I recently was looking for a Assisted living home for my sister. I looked at 6 different facilitys with Chartwell Park Place being the last on my list to look at.Well let me tell you I wish I looked at Chartwell PP 1st, then there would of been no need to look any further!From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Charlotte,then Jules. Well let me tell you,these to Ladies are 2nd to no one.They are so kind,warm, caring and compassionate that immediatly, I knew my sister is going to be in great hands with the Chartwell Park Place team. Now the tour and information session starts and I notice,the frendly staff,the cleanliness,the beautifull rooms,the restaurant,the movie theatre,the quality of care residents are receiving!!! everything it was just awesome.Now when the tour and information session were over the 1st question I asked myself was would I stay here and without hesitation my answer was YES! YES! YES!As you can guess my desision was so easy to make and I am very happy and look forward to my family being a part of the Chartwell Park Place familyThank you Park PlaceJIm Lee

I recently had the opportunity to visit Park Place as they were having an open house. I was very impressed with the quality of care and amenities offered to residents. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Bonnie took the time to show me around the residence and answer any questions I had. One of the things that stood out to me was how close knit their community is. The residents were so happy and engaged. There were plenty of activities and events to keep them active and entertained. The common areas were well-maintained and rooms had a comfortable and homey feel. I would highly recommend contacting Jules for personal tour for those considering their retirement options.

Bonnie and her team at Park Place provided loving and expert care to our Mom over her final months. This is such a welcoming community, not only for the residents, but all of us in their orbits. It didn’t matter if we were there on a weekday or weekend, there were always activities and chatter. It was so comforting to witness the daily interactions between the staff and Mom – the care, the laughter and good humour, and gentle guidance and support as her health declined. We felt real partnership with ongoing two-way communication that helped us navigate this chapter. Thank you – our highest recommendation for care in Aurora.

My sister was the one who stayed here but I can say she seemed to enjoy it and appreciated the attention of the staff. The head nurse, Charlotte, was extremely helpful to me. When we were moving Mary to a long-term care facility Josh and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful. Sandy on the front desk was always cheerful and ready to assist. Patrick, in the dining room, responded quickly and cheerfully to every request.

I give this Retirement home 5 stars. Management and staff hace been incredibly accommodating in helping my mother (who was more than reluctant to leave her own home)transition quickly into her new home. It’s been a week and already she has new friends, knows staff by name and is eating so much better! I Can finally relax knowing she is being well taken care of.

Our family has been very pleased with the compassionate care and attention our Mom has received. Bonnie and her team were always there to answer questions, provide assistance and support. The great staff, pleasant, welcoming environment and varied activities make this a good place to call home.

We have not moved in yet, but will be. I did do the tour, and talked to the staff in charge, found them to be caring, compassionate and warm in dealing with people with respect. They were very friendly.They have the needs met for seniors wanting independent living to those needing more care as their aging brings on further issues.The building is just undergoing some updated renovations, even though it is very quaint and warm looking throughout inside and out. It is beautifully done indoors and the rooms/suites are beautiful.It is close to all.It does have limited parking but still adequate.Love it, some of my friend’s parent or parents are residing here and they love it. It is a smaller than other senior homes which makes it a more close knit welcoming community.
