Ennis Fabrics

We are a Pilates equipment manufacturer that attempted to purchase fabric for our equipment. After several calls to the corporate office we had to wait two weeks for a local rep to contact us. Once they deemed to finally contact us we were told we had to submit ourselves to a credit check to purchase any products. This is without a doubt the least professional vendor we have had to deal with. It is clear that this company has no use for our business.

I love this company I’ve always had great service when going in in person, purchasing online or calling in. I am however disappointed that the show room is closed because I love seeing the product in person not just online. I’m hoping now that everything is open that they will open again.

The 1 star is for lousy customer relations; I never did get to see any fabrics.. This place is wholesale only, and they sell only to upholstery companies. It's not obvious from the other reviews or their website, and they don't tell you until you're there: i called ahead to get a bit of information about fabrics, and was told I'd have to open an account with them... sure, i can do that. But then when I got there I was told (not politely, either) that I couldn't even look at any fabrics unless either I am an upholstery company with an account, or am purchasing through such a company. I couldn't believe it: they just tell customers to go away?? I guess i won't be shopping here, with or without an upholstery company as intermediary.And maybe this review will save somebody a wasted trip.

Absolutely love Ennis fabrics and their customer service. Being able to visit the showroom and pick fabrics for our customers is definitely ideal for us. Thank you

Have been dealing with Ennis for 20 plus years with hardly any issues.Shipping is fast. Prices are fair. Service with Rep Olga Ngutete is super.Any problems are dealt with in a short period of time. I build and upholster furniture. I have found J Ennis to be a valuable resource for us. They keep everything in stock in their warehouses and ship within a day or two. While we purchase mostly vinyl we have also had excellent results with the fabrics we purchase from them. I have found the customer service to be excellent, too. Sofaredo.com

We use several large fabric wholesalers with little or no issue but when trying to order 15 yds of in stock fabric it was a disaster. It took 6 phone calls and so much grief. Then 3 days later finally recieved an email showing I was overcharged on shipping as well as pst/gst when I was told we would not be. Then there were 3 more people and phone calls to try to resolve that. I wools skip this place and move on to a professional company. When I finally spoke to a manager they didn't seem to want our business. Good luck.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ennis & meeting with our wonderful rep Rhonda. We love the presentation of their fabric books and appreciate always being kept up to date on product launches, pricing & inventory. Great Canadian company!
