Have been to many CF gyms around the world and CF Wonderland is at the top in terms of coaching, programming and quality of equipment. I highly recommend it to anyone who is committed to the process of being strong and healthy.

CrossFit Wonderland
I was a member at Crossfit Wonderland for nearly two years. I had trained at a number of gyms prior to joining but was ultimately drawn to it because of its proximity to my home: it is literally a three minute bike ride away. That said, I had no plans to ever leave and neither did my husband despite his unease with the way he and other members were constantly treated at this gym. I convinced him to stay, even in light of the passive aggressive jabs and hurtful ways one of the coaches, Caroline Lambray, interacted with him. That said, our membership became untenable this past July. About one week before the Crossfit games, where another coach--Jeffrey Adler--was competing for the first time, Lambray began to impose rules, setting “boundaries” as she put it. One evening, I arrived ONE MINUTE late to class and was told I had to leave or I could roll out in the gym. I suffer from a chronic illness and was not having a good day that day. Despite how I was feeling, I went to the gym to get some relief and happened to walk in one minute late. This was after I was told to leave the week before when the app Wonderland uses for class reservations lost my booking. I was distraught, upset, and in tears, and could not believe the way that I was treated. Between my husband and me, we paid what amounted to a small car loan every month to go to this gym. And to be clear, I NEVER use my disease as a crutch. There was no way we would go back to this place and cancelled our memberships promptly. In truth, this whole incident wreaked the better part of my summer. Lambray sells her gym as being a sort of family, and while I developed friendships with members of this community, I was always at a loss for how I saw her treat those who were supposed to be members of her family. It was abusive frankly. Some days Lambray would be happy and other days angry and the first person to jump on you if you broke any of her “rules.” Yes, there are rules for everything, including ones that detail which garbage you can throw out your gum into and how you should flush a toilet. This in addition to her “Dear Diary” emails, which berate members and serve as a forum for her to publicly convey her displeasure with members of her “special family,” shaming them in the process. To be clear, there’s a lot of good in this place. Members are friendly, programming is solid, and coaching is attentive to all of the details that are important in this sport. BUT, this is Lambray’s playground and you better play by her rules, otherwise be prepared to be bullied.

Amazing gym. The best part of my day. The coaches are the best and always very positive, welcoming and attentive. They get to know you and really help & encourage you to improve your strength, abilities and techniques over time. I have improved and learned so much since I started going to Wonderland. Highly recommend!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.Even though their website has no information about price and schedules they won’t reply to any of your questions or show you the gym if you show up at the gym. Not even even if there was no class happening at the moment and 2 people available. The “book an appointment” on their website never show availability, so I don’t really understand how they expect people to obtain more information. Maybe they don’t.
