***temp info.... this location is closed due to bad storm in May 2022. Not sure when re-opening, a long while I'd say*****This is by far one of my favorite spots. I used to go there quite often while my partner was battling cancer. It would give me time to have solitude and be able to think. At the same time I was able to be in nature and feel calmer. The storm of May 2022 unfortunately did take down a lot of trees I have not been back since that storm day of which I saw the damage and there's no way that you could even enter the parking lot before the dozens and dozens of trees that had fallen. I'm not sure if it's open yet or not but at some point I'm sure they will reopen and it will look and feel different for sure but it should still be a nice place to be. We have so many of these and NCC trails in Ottawa that it's so important to make use of them as their free activities for everyone including families which is great.
