Would give 0 stars if I could. I used to love Read’s, I would stop for a chai latte and buy a few books. Recently, though, I brought some old books to the book exchange and was shooed out by the old man who said he didn’t want any books after quickly flipping through one cook book. I had Shakespeare, full hardcover twilight set, cook books, romance, mystery, some brand new books, some books from when I took Children’s Literature at a university level etc. Owner/manager was very snobby and dismissive. Will pay full price at a reputable book shop before dealing with this rude man again.
