I had originally went in with my wife as she was looking for a few meters of a couple fabrics to make a tie Blanket. On going in we were able to find a material we liked, but there was only 1.5M we needed 2. The associate that helped us gave us unnecessary feedback. The sale was also not properly explained to us, after going back in and explaining the situation to the manager Cheryl our worries went away as she was able to get us the proper length for both materials we were after as with the sale it would have been the same price for the proper amount of material. We always come here, we were hesitant but we will definitely come back for our next project.

I found what I needed, a bit pricey, service was friendly, store layout was ok. Could be a bit more organized and cleaner. The membership card is a pain ...they can't look it up because of their old systems and so some people probably have to re-buy the membership.

I came in and was surprised nobody asked if they could help me. But after a few minutes once I was stumped on what needles to buy, I went up to the till where the assistant manager Shiena (sp?) finished with a customer and then helped see that I got the right thread and needles for sewing through the heavy material on my service dog’s vest. She is very personable and made it a positive experience.

Make sure you always have your membership card with you because they do not have your membership in the computer!!! The solution they gave me for not being able to confirm that I am a member was go home and come back!!! I did not have time to discuss this further, but now I think they should have looked me up in their paper records... Anyway, I ended up renewing early...Also, the staff is not trying to help finding what you need...at least the one that served" me...I had a hard time finding a pattern for my project and after I selected one option and she pulled it out for me

The staff as super helpful and explained what I needed to do and didn't try to sell me a bunch of things I didn't need.I came back months later for another project and same staff were again incredibly friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed. Renewed membership, but wasn't informed of the cost for renewal despite asking again and again. Only needed a small bit of fabric to finish a small project. Selected remnants as I've done many times before and then they opened the small package and started measuring the little piece of fabric as they're suddenly selling it per meter, not as priced, despite the signs saying different. One piece of remnant sold as prized (no measurement required), but the other 3 pieces were opened and measured; despite carrying the same label and coming out of the same bin. Bought of few pieces of fat quarters too, and was charged $8 a piece. Decided to speak out and was rudely put down that I don't know how to read prices. I went back to take the attached picture to show the lady at the till, and was told the price differs from the price in their book under the till so I still have to pay $8 instead of the marked $3.45. I said the law says you pay what they mark/ advertise. So she sold me the fabric at the price I proved with the picture, but the quilting staff told me not to come back. Flustered, I left. This after renewing membership! Hard no. Save yourself this high level of rudeness, I don't know how a store like this has changed character so badly and how they are still open!

Its a good place but the selection is pretty lacking i was looking for a pretty print and yes they have lots of print fabrics I just felt it was really lacking in the trendy 20-40 age range.

Each time I’ve gone in there, it’s the exact same: apathetic, lazy, rude staff, & a dirty store (the floors are disgusting - covered in hair and grime). Looking at all the other reviews, not sure why head office hasn’t fired everyone and brought in new polite staff. This store could probably increase their sales by at least a quarter if a major rehaul was done in how they operate.

Good place to buy sewing equipment, fabric, yarn,Knitting needles and friendly staff but bad news they will be closing soon! entire store 60% off! if you need something you better go quickly before everything's gone!
