Alweather Windows & Doors

Beware of this business. Their window installation is sloppy. They don’t stand behind their warranty.What they don’t tell you is that they have nothing to do with fixing problems. It is all referred to the manufacturer. They are now trying to charge me for travelling time to do repairs. All the springs on my windows are going one by one. It will cost me a small fortune to get them all repaired.

Loved their services and installation. They are great and know what they are doing.

I had them supply and install a window for me a few years ago and was very satisfied, so I ordered a new entry system.

I cannot for the life of me get them to answer my call or return a voicemail.

Had an exterior door handle crack and then break. Got a new one free of charge under warranty. No fuss, no hassle, and prompt service.

Had our windows replaced and found that the rooms were so much warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer!Nice people to have and the windows are great.

Just had new patio doors installed.Our installers (Charlie and Daniel), were from Dartmouth. Attention to detail, at its best, not to mention fantastic personalities. Thanks guys!!!

I prefer to shop local as best I can and as money permits but i have to share this.At the end of August I contacted #Alweatherwindowsanddoors to order parts for my garage door. They were quick to respond and special ordered my parts that day (with a 50% down payment of course). I was informed it would take 2 weeks to get as they were on back order. In September I attempted to contact them to see where my parts were, I left multiple voicemails with no response and could never get through on the phone. After stopping in and dealing with the extremely rude lady behind the desk it became apparent that they had no idea where my parts were and had no intentions of pursuing it. I eventually had to call the head office in the city to have them return my call and make arrangements to get the parts. I was told it would be in that week. After being ignored for another month and dealing with their ignorant employees I finally received my parts this week... IN NOVEMBER! There were no apologies or even a small discount offered for my inconvenience. I just wanted to express my absolute disgust with this business and want to warn others of the unprofessional manner in which they conduct their day to day operations. I will never put myself through the daunting task of dealing with them again! I have no idea how they can stay in business dealing with the public the way that they do.

Wow, great service , expert opinions and sound advice

Windows are poor quality. Springs breaking, catches breaking.Opening not framed out correctly. As I found when doing some remodelling, no foam insulation around the window at all.Not impressed.
