Southsides Patio Bar & Grill
I was here last week and this place is special and what makes it special is the atmosphere it emits. There was a live band, lots of people sitting and enjoying not to mention the view of the water and the Peace Bridge.I had ordered just fries as I just needed something light and it was nice, tad on oily side for my liking but would come here again to try something else.

Giving a 5-star for all the other things besides the food.Great service at the bar by the bartender (female). Decent location and ambience. But terrible food - Ultra processed. Don't get the wings they are terrible. Besides the food, everything was great!

Ordered take out, wings, steak sub and poutine. The fries, wings and steak were all over cooked. The steak was so over seasoned that all you could taste was salt and seasoning. Absolutely awful. Definitely not worth close to $60. Not the first issue i have had with food from here, but it will definitely be the last.

Been 3 times, first time it took an hour to get our appetizer. 2nd time I brought my girlfriends for lunch and the service was amazing and our food arrived within 25 minutes of ordering. So i convinced Alex to go again and told him that I’m sure we wouldn’t have to wait again. We ordered and a few minutes later two more tables showed up. The one table of two received there order within 20 minutes and a hour later the second table with a baby had to ask for there order and the waiter went inside to check and 5 minutes later there food came out. We had to ask if we were getting our food and he said it be ready in 10 minutes meanwhile a new table arrived and they we’re already being served. I’m very disappointed only because I know Alex won’t ever want to go back and to be honest the atmosphere and food is great! They did pack it up for us and only charged us for the alcohol which Is why I gave them a 4 star. The place wasn’t packed so there was no reason for the delay. I think the order wasn’t put in. I ordered the foot long Dorito taco and a brisket grilled cheese with fries.

Wonderful surprise. Stopped in as it looked interesting, the staff was amazing, friendly, the food was yummy! Fish and chips and cheese burger and chips. By all accounts the wings are the best-so will try those next. Unfortunately it was raining so missed out on being able to use the patio. Can’t wait to get back when the sun is out. Had a really good local band playing.

Went in Saturday Night and found the woman with dark hair very rude and cold. The other woman working (blonde curly hair) was very nice, engaging and polite. Didn’t stay long due to the dark haired woman’s attitude and just left. They need to work on their guest services.

The food here was amazing. They had good sized portions, lots of flavour, and creative menu items.The atmosphere is very relaxed. At this time we can only dine on patios so we sat outside and had a view of the Peace Bridge. It is great for a date or family outing.We tried the mozzarella sticks covered in buffalo sauce, the drunken burger, and a philly steak sandwich with buffalo chicken. The mozzarella sticks were out of this world. The burger seemed to be hand made and was great. I loved the addition of an onion ring. The philly steak sandwich was a mouthful but worked so well with the buffalo chicken and was definately a worthwhile purchase.The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because our server was terrible. The other servers were great and we ended up calling one over to get our check, but the young server we had was not great. She was friendly but never checked on us, dropped off new food and didn't take the old plates, and never came by. It took us 15 minutes of trying to get her attention to just get another beer before we gave up and called over another server who was quick and efficient. She also took a drink from a patron and ducked under the tiki bar to drink it. Not sure why she had to hide it, but it would have been nice if she had checked on us instead of drinking.Overall, amazing amazing food that I will for sure be going back for. I'll just make sure to request a different server.
