Waited on the phone for 25 minutes only to have them hang up on me and told by an automated message to use an online chat service. Go online to use the service, it closed 9 minutes ago. Call them again and they just play an automated message saying the registrar is too busy and they hang up on me. The registrar needs to learn some problems are time sensitive and not everyone can make it all the way to UTSC.If you do go see them in person, don't expect a perfect solution to any of your problems. Some of the workers are actually very nice but a lot of UofT policies make solutions impossible. Unfortunately that's all the words of praise I can give this service.

The most unhelpful office ever. I have never been so dismissed and I am a third year international transfer student that needs to process my study permit. I asked a very direct question that relates directly with the registrar and was cast aside with dismissive one sentence answers. no help. terrible. hire better people, be comprehensive, DO BETTER. This is supposed to be a place of higher learning, which should entail a higher level of assistance with complex issues. All I witnessed today was a person who shirks responsibility. Very sad.

I had a 5-star experience with the financial aid advisor Carlos Hernandez who was very helpful in answering my questions and providing me directions. However, the registrar's office is too slow to answer student inquiries. You have to wait at least 40 minutes to get a simple answer (both in-person and online chat) despite office reception desks being vacant. Office is understaffed and cannot efficiently meet student demand.

I would give 0 stars if i could. Only thing these pencil pushers are good at is berating and harassing students instead of helping them and no i'm not being dramatic. The people that work here are anything but helpful.Shame on the University of Toronto.

absolutely terrible service. rude people most of the time. berating students instead of helping them. terrible hours. just worried about clocking in and out instead of doing their job well. unhelpful most of the time, most of the time you are better talking to osap. if i could give 0 stars i would.

I have emailed the registrar multiple times, and each time they have provided proper help and directions. In particular the most recent interaction with them was very helpful, and the front desk I talked with Sherri who was very caring and helpful. Feel free to contact them as a UTSC student

Long wait times, and has 4 people working on their computers, but only two taking in students that are stressing with their concerns. Really unprofessional of the other colleagues of theirs to not help out and shorten the wait times! Came when it first opened in the morning and have been waiting for over an hour already!!

Worst service ever! I would give 0 stars if I can. Those advisers in the office is not helpful at all. They don’t know anything and don’t care about you issues; they just want to kick you out of office by redirecting you to other offices. Have to go over 5 times as they gave me the wrong information. Avoid going there if you can!

I know the Registrar can be slow and unhelpful to some people, but I’ve never had a terrible experience in-person. I was nervous having to send sensitive forms online and was immediately met with the most helpful responses. Dallas Boyer went above and beyond handling my forms via email, and always replied within a few days, sometimes within a few minutes! In person I’ve only ever had to deal with long wait times, but that’s to be expected, though I’ve always had helpful Registrar Staff there too! Thank you again to Dallas, I hope others can have more positive experiences in the future.

Overall, I won't completely put the blame on the registrars office. I just wish that the registrar's would be open more than just a few hours a day.The registrar's should be accessible to students, but I feel like UTSC has implemented policies to actively inconvenience students. I've been quite lucky as I never had to line up during the busiest times throughout the semester so I never had to wait hours just to talk to an employee. Yet whenever I do speak to an employee, I feel like they've been quite helpful. But aside from meeting them in person, they are basically impossible to get ahold of whether via calls or email.So from my very limited interactions with the registrar's, it's pretty decent. I just wish UTSC would acknowledge just how inaccessible the registrar's is in general and revise some policies. Maybe in 10 years, the registrar's would consider opening past 4PM
