Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Midtown

Staying here was not the best of experiences.Highlights:1. Terribly tight parking spots for paid parking.2. One of the receptionists was rude and defensive on the go. Walked off from a conversation in the middle.3. The restaurant that offers breakfast was terribly slow, and gave us leathery pancakes. When we mentioned this to the management, they blankly refused to take ownership and said the restaurant Blandino is separate from the hotel.4. We then asked them whether we can pay and go the buffet restaurant next door, but we were told it is for Homewood customers and we were “not allowed”.Not recommended if you are traveling with kids. Our child had to wait for 1.5 hours for leathery pancakes.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown in Montreal, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.The rooms at the hotel were fantastic - they were tidy, well-maintained, and looked very nice. But what really made my stay special was the stunning view of Saint Joseph's Oratory from my room. It was a truly breathtaking sight, and I felt lucky to have such a great view of such an iconic landmark.I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and furnishings, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep during my stay.The location of the hotel was also very convenient - it was just a 10-minute walk from the subway, which made it easy to explore the city. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, which was great for getting a good night's rest.Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown. The service was exceptional, the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the view of Saint Joseph's Oratory was truly unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, and I give it a well-deserved 5 stars.

As someone who works in customer service I have to say, the way the lady at the front desk spoke to me was completely unacceptable. She was hostile and had a bad attitude. I’m always super respectful to people in general but especially to those in customer service because I understand the job isn’t an easy one. She had no reason to speak to me the way she did. Other people in line also mentioned that the staff had been unpleasant with them as well. I didn’t get the lady’s name but she had curly hair, light bluish eyes and tanned skin. So rude.

My stay at the Hilton Midtown Garden Inn was a wonderful, relaxing treat during the power failure in Montreal. Upon my arrival, front staff went over and beyond to answer my questions and make sure my stay was comfortable. There was easy, indoor self parking with many levels available. Several elevators meant no long waits to go to and from your room. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, had large windows, a comfortable king size bed, a large flat screened TV, Wifi , and a safety deposit box. The large bathroom was spa - like and had luxuriously thick towels and lovely smelling shampoo, soap and body cream. Breakfast in the morning was enjoyable and the waitress was both cheerful and efficient. Although I didn't have items necessary for the swimming pool, I did a great workout in the gym.Within walking distance there were coffee shops and a large grocery store.Overall, I had a well needed, relaxing and wonderful experience and without a doubt I would highly recommend the hotel . I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel and amazing staff at this location. It was definitely WAY more than a typical Hilton Garden Inn. Everything is pretty modern and clean, and way more accommodations than expected (even a full service restaurant!).Shout out to the staff who were all stellar!Only downside is the location. It's a bit awkward getting there. It's also right off the freeway and the noise could be bothersome (we were fine though and not light sleepers).However, the hotel and staff made up for that. It's about a 20-25 minute drive depending on traffic to Downtown Montreal.Enjoy! Thank you, Hilton!

The hotel accommodation and meals were excellent during our three-night stay. They indicated that we broke the toilet lever after our time was over. Strong effort and physical strength would be needed for this. This is absurd because the toilet lever must be operational and it was in immaculate shape when we left it.

Had a great stay here. The hotel is modern and clean, and the reception staff were very friendly and professional.The location is mostly good as it is about 10 minutes walk to the metro, and as well there are a couple of cafes across the street which were great for mornings. The only downside about the location is that it is near a busy highway, so you'll be hearing the morning and evening traffic if you're faced to it, it wasn't an issue for us but could be for others.

We had a great experience. We arrived after midnight and we were exhausted. The check-in process was very fast. Our room was a standard room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and temperature. We were there race weekend; when we arrived in our room we found a water bottle decorated for the race and chocolate in the shape of race cars; this was a nice touch.We enjoyed our breakfast each morning. The food was good and the staff was friendly.We stored our luggage after checkout so we could go downtown on our last day and they were very accommodating.We used the Metro all three days we were there and the station was only a five minute walk.An overall great experience!!

Amazing staff and excellent service. Clean, friendly and classy! Top notch hospitality. Only positive things to say about this hotel. Thank you for the beautiful stay!
