VCA Canada Burnham Mansion Animal Hospital

First time ever visiting here, and I've got to say, the people there are amazing and quite friendly. My poor cat has tapeworms, emailed them in the morning, got a call in the afternoon and they got me in that afternoon at 430. From start to finish, it was a very positive experience for both myself, and even though he won't say it, my cat too. I'm sure he's happy to be rid of his best friends that goes where he goes and eats what he eats. And the old mansion, that's quite something to see as well! Definitely recommend!

I have recently switched to Burnham from High Street and so far they have been amazing. I see other people complaining about being asked about additional tests and results however I feel that I will always give my dog the best treatment and tests to ensure she is healthy! My dog has had to go in about 3 times during the last week due to mistakes from my other vet and although Burnham is quite expensive, I feel it is definitely worth it. My first appointment I was late due to my own mistake and they were so understanding and kind and allowed me to come in when I could. They cuddled my dog, pet her, spoke to her which calmed my highly anxious dog. They were very reassuring and helpful when I told them my dog needs a lot of attention and emotional support" as she's had terrible experiences in the past. My partner took her in for her most recent visits and it was absolutely amazing to be receiving updates that he could hear them talking to her and comforting her in the back room

Mismanagement of scheduling/time.Was called to pick up my pet an hour and a half before they were ready, almost two.Would have appreciated a potential heads up or a warning that this could have happened.Really wish businesses respected the customers time as much as we respect yours.

Wouldn't take my furred family anywhere else. Doctors are friendly, insightful, there to help. They do their very best to ensure the health treatment is both best for pet, family dynamic, and what is affordable to each family. They offer options and information about each option. I've never had a vet visit before them where I felt helpless, uninvolved and empty until I went there.I'm very thankful for their services, and would recommend Burnham to anyone. <3

This past Monday we had our very first appointment at Burnham Mansion Vet. When we first walked through the door we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who walked us to a very warm and welcoming office/room. The vet was very informative and thorough! Our puppy Phoebe was comfortable and happy the entire visit. Not only are the staff amazing but the atmosphere at Burnham Mansion Vet is awesome. So warm and welcoming. I highly recommend!!

Made me give my dog meds that from my experience made her irritable while she was on it once before. Because I couldn't prove it, I was told I had no basis for my claim and was given the same meds again instead of offering another option. Guess what. Same thing happened. Was quoted a price to have my pup spayed. When the price given seemed quite low I questioned it and was assured that the price was correct. Went ahead with the spay and when I went to pick up my dog the price was more than tripple what I was quoted. I asked to pay the price quoted but was turned down because it was a mistake. Get it on paper first folks! Unfortunately I'm not going back. Over priced and don't seem generally concerned when you question them.

We recently had to put our beloved cat down. Burnham Mansion vet clinic was very considerate and thoughtful during the process and at all times the staff made us feel like the best interests of the cat were put forward at all times. The building is beautiful and was interesting to see the changes they have made to this wonderful heritage home. There were a few items that could be tucked away that were obviously being used as part of a renovation that was on hold, but it did not take away from the experience of you can look past these things. Staff were fantastic and should be proud of their work.

The receptionist the nurse and doctors were so nice to my little girl Liliy (Chihuahua) treated her with care and gentle hands. Very knowledgeable and did not try to up sale us at all.I have found the perfect vet for my girl finally

Have only visited once, but, both the doctor and the staff we met were very friendly. The doctor treated both our digs very well and was attentive with any of our questions. She also gave us some suggestions with a particularly difficult issue one of our dogs have. We'll be looking forward to our next visit.
