Biggest waste of money. Multiple spots where you can see they stopped a roller. Finish cracked and numerous spots. Would not recommend. I have had 2 friends wanting to refinish their hardwood floors but after viewing mine they are going with a different company. Extremely disappointed. The 12k price was definitely not worth it.

Donna and Delbert are Pros.. they take huge pride in their work and it shows in every detail from start to finish! If you are hesitating when shopping for refinishers.. DONT... Of all the trades people that have come and gone thru our doors.. these two beat the best!

Delbert and Donna did an amazing job sanding and finishing our cottage floors - 3 different kinds of wood, and varying from darkly stained (in the 1940’s) to brand-new. They are perfectionists. Our floors are gorgeous. We could not be happier and they will be the first people we contact for any future woodwork.Bruce and Mary

Our hardwood kitchen floor had 30 years of abuse….it was a messDelbert and Donna gave me a price and time when they could refinish….showed up exactly to the day….gave me options as far as staining.Sanded dustless ,sealed then came back with 2 coats of bona hd ….I’m sure it ended up looking better than the original install.There invoice was exactly as quoted and wouldn’t take payment until it was fully cured and they were sure I was satisfied

We would highly recommend Sheffield Hardwood for refinishing floors as we had Delbert & Donna come to our home and give us an estimate on our badly scratched pine floors and they felt they could bring the floors back to life. They did an amazing job, the floors look much better than we ever expected they could. We are very happy with the results. They promised that my floors would be even nicer than when they were first installed and they certainly delivered.

Delbert and Donna refinished our hardwood floor at our cottage in Haliburton.. Not only did they do a meticulous job communicating on time and with detail, they helped us with sample colours and advice on finishes. Then they did a beautiful job completing the work on site. The hardwood had been bleached and was a mix of red and white oak, making it look patchy. However after Delbert and Donna finished, it was a lovely finish that finally brings out the best in the cottage. I am so pleased with the fact there was little to no dust in the cottage and their eye for detail was fantastic.They arrived on time, stayed in our cottage during the refinishing and looked after the place as though it were their own. I can’t recommend they more highly. You’d be lucky to have them!

We are absolutely delighted with the re-finishing of our once cupped wood floors that Delbert and Donna brought back to life for us.The floors now actually look better than the day they were laid, the grain of the wood really shows up good and rich looking.We had a few friend over the other day and the pleasing comments we received about the condition and finish were many.If anyone is looking for a professional re-finishing of hardwood floors....look no farther than Sheffield Hardwood and the great job they will get done by Delbert and Donna.Keith & JoyceBrighton.ON
