My husband and I had the most pleasant and wonderful experience of working with Joanna and Sarah. We were engaged to be married... and we just so happened to choose a date that was only 60 days away from when we got engaged! With both my husband and I being clueless about weddings, we immediately researched and eventually reached out to Joanna and Sarah, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made.They were with us until the very end, being incredibly supportive, helpful, and working as best as they could with the budget we could provide. They were wonderful emotional support, and the sisters are both so deeply empathetic and sweet. Throughout the process, they were so easy to reach out for and always quick to respond! Our wedding process was, let's just say, quite the whirlwind, and these two ladies were not only so kind, but also like the steady rocks that helped us from not falling over into the crazy storm that was going on. They made our wedding design SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! They have such an eye for beautiful aesthetics and for wedding planning itself!! Talking to them from the start, it felt so easygoing and like we had a team we could trust right away. They made everything that was confusing or overwhelming to us become so seamless. Any last minute decisions were calmly smoothed over by them and they even helped advocate for our venue mishaps.God has truly TRULY blessed us with these two, and I'm so thankful they were there to see it through until the end. Joanna and Sarah, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You two are such wonderful sheep in God's flock and we're so honored we were able to cross paths in this way. What makes Sarah and Joanna unique compared to other wedding planners is the dynamic between the two of them. Very rarely will you see two sisters, both with the same passion for wedding planning, commitment to top quality service, that are constantly on the same wave length. This was very beneficial during the planning stage and even more so on the wedding day. I can hardly remember a hiccup on that day and it wasn't because there weren't any, but Sarah and Joanna took care of it before my wife and I noticed. Like the bible says two are better than one

Joanna and Sarah are very organized. Quick to respond to emails, phone or text. They went above and beyond! My entire wedding party was very impressed by them- as we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of. They were in contact with all our vendors weeks before the wedding date. On the day of, they took care of everything and they also checked in on us frequently to make sure we were doing ok. I would highly recommend Joanna and Sarah for their wonderful service. Thank you so much for making our day feel so effortless. We wouldn’t have been able to enjoy our special day without you girls!

When we first started planning our wedding, we quickly became overwhelmed, amidst many life changes happening all at once. After securing our venue, and with 6 months left to plan everything else, Joanna and Sarah came to our rescue and began right away. We met with them virtually for them to get to know us, and showed them a few photos of weddings we liked, and they turned that into the wedding of our dreams. It would not have been possible for us to plan a wedding on the level that our wedding was without Joanna and Sarah.Sarah and Joanna kept regular communication with our venue, caterer, and photographer, which was one of the most demanding and time-sensitive parts of the job, but made a huge difference in making sure we didn’t miss a single detail over those 6 months.Joanna and Sarah were very respectful of our budget as well. They had an upfront conversation with us about what we were willing to spend, and we ended up staying pretty close to that. In cases where something might cost extra, they presented multiple options to allow us to spend any extra where it was most meaningful to us.They coordinated with all of our vendors and made sure that everyone had an up-to-date schedule for our day and knew exactly how to collaborate with each other so as not to step on each other’s toes.It was extraordinarily useful to have Sarah and Joanna with us during the ceremony. Joanna was watching the ceremony and sending cues to Sarah, who was telling everyone when to start walking, making sure that the ceremony was perfectly timed. It was really fun to watch how well they work together. And they were super helpful in making sure that all of our ceremony music was played at the right times! I feel like a wedding day without stress is unheard of - but we genuinely felt so stress-free and joyous on our wedding day thanks to them.Also, Sarah was my hero because I got makeup smudged on my contact lenses during the ceremony and couldn’t see anything. She magically appeared with a towel to sanitize my hands and contact solution for me to clean my contacts. I will never forget how relieved I felt in that moment!We felt like Joanna and Sarah picked up on our personalities and the feeling we wanted to create for our wedding so perfectly. Having had our wedding last June, we feel grateful to Joanna & Sarah for helping us out during the entire planning process amidst a pandemic.I remember reaching out to these girls as I loved their wedding portfolio aesthetic and felt that they had a meticulous eye for wedding design. To my surprise, they were also efficient and quick to respond back and this goes the same for all our meetings. All of our meetings were light and casual, which made it more comfortable for my husband and I to communicate our needs. These girls are not only professionals but also very friendly and personable!Joanna and Sarah truly strive to provide their clients with the best of the best which we appreciated! Although we did not go with 100% of their recommendations due to budgeting, they did not make us feel pressured in selecting only vendors they recommended and worked with me in corresponding with other vendors to match our needs, which was challenging enough due to Covid. As they had a planning timeline to follow, I did wish we tackled more things in the beginning with me having a type A personality and us racing to find vendors still available due to weddings opening back up, but looking back they helped me and my husband stress less while also working full time. They were also helpful in directing our rehearsal a week in advance as our officiant wasn't able to make it for that day.These girls even helped us problem solve any issues with some of our vendors (i.e., extra charges that should not have been there) after the wedding which is truly a blessing! Overall, we're so thankful that they were able to help us keep our wedding journey as stress-free as much as possible!

Sarah and Joanna from Honour and Blessing were absolutely amazing as our wedding planners! From our first meeting all the way to our wedding day, they were so easy to work with! They both really strived to get to know my husband and I, and to really understand our vision for our wedding. Their calm, organized personalities were such a gift during such a busy season of wedding planning and prepping. Their attention to detail was like no other! They always took notes and remembered even the smallest of details. During the wedding planning stage, I was so appreciative to have Sarah and Joanna available to help with finding vendors and any questions I had related to planning. I knew they were only a phone call or email away which is such a gift for a bride! The day of went so smoothly!! I completely trusted in Sarah and Joanna on our wedding day and was able to not worry about any logistics. I let go, handed over and truly enjoyed every part of my wedding day!! I would without a doubt recommend hiring Honour and Blessing as your wedding planners! You can not find two more caring, professional, planners than Sarah and Joanna.

So...I started off my wedding planning, with... finding my wedding planner. After I found honourandblessing's beautifully organized website, I wanted to learn more about them.During our first phone call, Joanna actually answered many of the questions I had about wedding so I was more inclined to work with them as we talked. However, Joanna suggested that I contact other wedding planners too before making a decision. She told me it is crucial to find the best match for me, as it will be the most important vendor that I will be dealing with for the longest time out of all the other vendors. I did indeed contact others, but only to feel so sure that Joanna and Sarah will be my wedding planners.I would have to say, if you get stressed out easily, you definitely need a wedding planner. Even if you don't, if you want your wedding day to go smooth like butter, you need a wedding planner. Throughout the 15 months of planning, I never had to worry about missing any deadlines for booking, and honestly, I didn't even know what else to book for. It should be the same for many of you, I suppose, as we are getting married for the first time, in most cases. Joanna and Sarah, they were there for any kind of questions I had and with their monthly to-do lists, they took care of everything without pressuring me. They planned so well ahead that they even gave us a break from planning when we went to visit Korea. Joanna and Sarah knew exactly what I'd wanted and envisioned for my special day.On my wedding day, they were there when I had a question, when I needed a tissue, when I needed a mini fan, when I was nervous, when I was feeling sick, and when I was hungry. Both of them will guide you through the entire process, and be there for you until the end of your wedding day. They will be the last ones to leave the venue. I only have a brother, but if I'd had a sister, she would have done what Joanna and Sarah had done for me during my wedding day. My family members and guests were able to enjoy the day thanks to these incredible professional wedding planners. I am more than excited to see what they will be creating for other couples in the future!

Joanna and Sarah went far above and beyond our expectations with daily meetings and telecoms, making themselves available whenever required, while assisting us with such things as making adorable party favors and researching our vendors. They provided us a myriad of options and used their extensive knowledge and experience in guiding us with our decisions in choosing things such as decor, florist, and even in very details things; this is just a sample of what Joanna and Sarah can offer and is capable of. Essentially, we planned our whole wedding in about three-month time and it turned out as perfectly as envisioned.Joanna's and Sarah's top-notch organizational skills, detail-oriented and 'on-top-of-it-all-under-control' personality made us worry nothing throughout the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding, On our big day, the venue was beautifully decorated and the whole event was delivered spectacularly. Everything looked so impossibly perfect on the day and we were blown away. Joanna and Sarah have great contacts, energy, and flare for wedding planning and ensure all is coordinated with military precision. Nadia and I would like to extend a massive personal thank you to them for making our wedding day so special. If you are looking for someone to help make your day special, we cannot recommend Joanna and Sarah highly enough.

We had an incredible time working with Joanna and Sarah! We were planning our Vancouver Island wedding from out of province and entirely relied on Joanna and Sarah to explore venues for us and recruit vendors. They listened carefully to our vision and our priorities for our wedding and always made thoughtful suggestions that centered upon all of what we had told them. They were always kind and supportive of our decisions, even when we decided at the last minute to withdraw from signing onto a venue. We never felt pressured to speed up our decision making or compromise on the things that were important to us. Ultimately, after many site visits, they helped us find an incredible venue that was well-suited to our preferences, and when we arrived on the week of our wedding from out of province, we truly were not disappointed - in fact, we felt we knew exactly what to expect because of how comprehensive Joanna and Sarah were in describing and explaining the venue to us.Joanna and Sarah truly have wedding planning down to a science - when working with them, you can expect to receive clear and concise timelines, to-do lists, and decisions that need to be made, which was perfect for my partner and my busy schedules! Beyond the logistical guidance, they were both incredibly kind and considerate of the stress of wedding planning. When we were overwhelmed with minutiae details around invitations, place cards, or decor, Joanna and Sarah were always present to lend a listening ear and to provide clarity and gentle guidance as to ideas that would work and those that would be more challenging to implement.The day of our wedding went more smoothly than we ever could have imagined. My partner and I found ourselves able to enjoy time with our guests and with one another without any logistical anxieties. Joanna and Sarah worked quietly and diligently behind the scenes to coordinate all of our vendors, meals, and events, and no component ever felt rushed or ill-timed. Based on feedback received from our venue and vendors, it was clear that they also loved working with Joanna and Sarah and found them to be very communicative and professional.If wedding planning feels daunting to you, or you just want two pairs of keen eyes and kind souls to journey with you through the process, you can’t go wrong with Joanna and Sarah!

Joanna and Sarah made my wedding day and even the months before that run smoothly. The two of them make such a great team because they complement each other so well. They made the wedding process from vendor selecting to decor so simple. When you work with the two sisters, you can see that they love what they do and they will always make you feel like the star of the show.
