We visited Dumka recent to try out their buffet.The restaurant is a quite, little and cute space with amazing affordable buffet offers going on throughout the week. Follow their page on instagram to keep a track of their offers.We tried their chat & South Indian buffet which included pani puris, samosa chaat, aloo tikki chaat, pakodas, Vada Pav, uttapam and dosa.There were many options in drinks:Sweet lime waterButtermilkMasala teaDesserts had options of Gulab jamun, paan, gajrela and mango mouse.We loved the taste and quality of all the food items. The service pretty quick and the staff was very polite.So if you are a fan of buffets at a nominal price , they offer a range of breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Do try them.Highly recommended.Takeaways also available.

I had been craving Indian fast for some time now, this place was an all around experience for the best fast food buffet in Calgary, will definitely be coming here again. Pranavi was so attentive and humble, I am in awe of the treatment we received here. Must visit place for “golgappa lovers”.

I would not be recommending for Biryani or their special appetizers based on my experience.Tried out this place based on reviews. Ordered Dumka Special Chicken appetizer and the boneless chicken biryani and was not impressed with taste or quality. The biryani tasted bland and was not even warm.The chicken was hard and the same chicken appetizer was used in boneless biryani as well. Whats point of ordering two dishes if the restaurant is just using same item in every dish.In fact the complimentary paneer given was way better than the actual items ordered.Turns out after going through the reviews again most of the reviews are fake, few of them rated 5* who are not even in Canada :)Guys you may have to get a good chef else you may not see a customer coming back for second time.

Good price and Quantity but lacks bit taste and quality.Not reccomandate for biryani.We had other things like Gobi 65 and Chicken 65 and these were reasonably good.Seemed like gravy was was same for both of them.Ambience was Okay.

We were there for dinner buffet last week. All the items were delicious. Carrot halwa was amazing. Veg- biryani was also very good. This place is a self serve. Service was also very good.

Probably one of the best Indian restaurants i’ve eaten at in calgary so far. The dishes were delicious and the naan was great. I’ve never had Chicken raju gari kodi pulav before but this is now a fav dish to try! The flavors they have in each dish are amazing and keep bringing you back for another bite. The Chicken 65 was crispy, flavorful and a bit spicy but not too bad. Highly recommend.

Amazing food. Very authentic South Indian taste. Food was very fresh. Tastes like home made food. We enjoyed each and every dishes in the dinner buffet. Very friendly and courteous service. Reasonabley priced. They really do their best to make sure you enjoy the visit asking feedback multiple times . I personally never had that experience in an Indian restaurant. Only issue I had with the food is that curries had too much oil to my liking but that doesn’t affect the taste. I would rank Dumka on top of my favourite restaurant in Calgary.

Big very big zero .... taste less too much salt ... no flavor in food... I order Apollo fish which is called fish pakora .... they just change the name and selling same pakora.... and it was too salty .... I think chefs did not all the dishes before serving ... and request to googal please change the staring system ... just put 0 to 10 ranking ... that will help to coustomer to find good food or service... thanks

I went there for the first time! I got the goat biriyani, and the masala dosa was excellent!! I had a good time!! I will surely return. The environment is also good. Must try -fried chicken biriyani

There was a special buffet offer when we tried this place.We got a chance to have gol gappe, samosa channa, aaloo tikki, Vada pav, bread pakoda , dosa , uttpam, and many more items.Uttpam was the best. Chutney is dam amazing.We also liked samosa channa, vada pav.Definitely worth a try...!!!
