Rangeland Meats aka Devick Ranch

Unfortunately I have had a very unpleasant experience with Rangeland meats. I ordered a cow and specifically asked that 1 hind leg be cut into 3 inch portions. At Pick up I ask for the Hind leg cuts, I was told it's all there. When I unloaded the meat at home, I did not see the portions. I rummage through the freezer and only find 7 packs of very bony 1 kg packages. I have sent numerous emails, sadly none have been responded to. A hind leg of a cow is definitely more than 7kg.The worst bit of my experience is the lack of response from them.I wonder if anyone else has had this experience.I surely will not be going back there.

I bought a half a beef from here last spring honestly the best beef I ever bought. I have highly recommended this place. Not one complaint from this house.

Asked for Leaf fat for making pemmican and Jessica knew exactly what I was after and was able to secure some that day for me to pickup. Will be buying more I'm sure

Nice people. Below average cutting, wrapping, and curing services. You can tell that the work was being done by people working a job, not by a butcher who loves their work and cares about quality. If youve got no other option, theyll do the job, but otherwise get your kill done here and get someone else to butcher, cure and package for you if you can...more work and travelling for you most likely but youll end up with higher quality product than what they offer.Picture is of what is now a house joke. 3 breakfast sausages in a single package....just divide them up between the 3 last packages and wrap them all at the end. Just a sign of someone who doesnt care enough to think for themself. How are we supposed to try and sell this? No consistency...Pepperoni was poorly done, nitrite cured but not smoked, has scared multiple customers as no one has ever seen 'raw' pepperoni like this...flavour is pretty poor... bacon just thrown into a pile as it was cut, and then wrapped...no layering or care. Sausages were all made from 'flavour packages' rather than real ingredients, and were all pretty below average flavour....spicy texas wasnt spicy at all, garlic coil not very garlic flavoured.
