We had never used a designer before hiring Rachel Deeks Design to re-do our newly purchased home, and we could never do a renovation without one again!Rachel helped us transform our older home into a functional and beautiful living space for our family, but still allowed us to keep some the older charm and character we wanted to preserve. Her taste and expertise were worth every penny - she knew everything from how high our countertops should be to how far apart to space furniture, and gave us thoughtful recommendations about how to make the best use of the space (ie custom built-in closets in our front entryway where there was no storage for coats/shoes) that we hadn’t even thought of.Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with. She had a keen eye for detail from start to finish, making sure everything was completed properly and on time (also made possible through her relationships with vendors and trades). With a new baby, we had no interest in spending time at a store picking out materials or light fixtures (nor did we know what would work in our space), and Rachel saved us countless hours by sourcing and researching on our behalf to share the best options with us.We consistently receive amazing feedback about our house, and cannot recommend Rachel Deeks Design more highly!

Rachel managed the renovation process for our home here in Montreal, which included reworking the layout and renovating the kitchen, dining room, basement, and bathrooms. She completely transformed it from an outdated/dark/stuffy house to a bright and infinitely liveable space, whilst also maintaining the historical elements of the home. She was creative, professional, responsible, and reliable, and also just really fun to have by our side during the renovation process!
