Great Doctors, nurses and reception. All very friendly, polite and willing to help. I am always able to get an appointment. Yes, there may sometimes be a wait, but like all doctors offices they are busy! Doctors are patient and willing to answer all your questions. Good COVID safety protocols in place.

No form of status or updates which then lead to appointments being over a month and a half apart for the same issue just overall bad management

Double check with the doctor to ensure she sent ALL the medication that I needed to the Pharmacy. She confirms. I get to the pharmacy and there is medication missing from my prescription. Would not recommend

Wish I could give this place zero stars. The doctors are all lovely but I’ve only had bad experiences with reception & the information nurse. I’ve been called multiple times from the information nurse for no reason, been charged for appointments that I cancelled in advance and been spoken down to multiple times by reception. Most recently my appointment that I booked a week in advance was changed to a “phone consultation” last minute, when I called back to say I really needed to see the doctor I was transferred to the information nurse which went straight to voicemail. I was called back 5 minutes to when my appointment would have been (because they changed it to a “phone consultation”) and was told I can come in for my appointment, when I told her I live 20 minutes from campus she told me “well you better start running”....I’ve never had my health so blatantly disregarded in my whole life.

If I could rate 0 I would. I have been waiting over a month for my files to be transferred to my doctor so I can be referred to a specialist, they told me it would take 30 days for my doctor to get it but turns out it's been over a month and they HAVEN'T SENT ANY OF IT YET, not even the one record I asked them to send immediately. The nurse helping me today was very helpful but it's a small dim light in the sea of darkness that is Student Health Services

I used this clinic on and off during the 6 years I did my undergraduate and master's degree here. They were hit and miss with service. Some doctor's were really kind and truly cared, others were extremely difficult to talk to. Almost every time I had to wait over 45 minutes to be seen for a pre-booked appointment that only lasted ~10 minutes. The final straw for me was when I went to see a doctor and she got visibly frustrated with me when I was just asking for clarification because I was confused. She left me so uncomfortable I went to my family doctor instead (a 4 hr round trip away). At that appointment, I found out that a medication I was on (prescribed to me at the UofG clinic) should never have been prescribed to me and was putting me at an increased risk of stroke. My family doctor was shocked that they did not ask me the key screening question that would have made me ineligible to be on that medication. This clinic is an option if you have a smaller health issue, but you should go to your family doctor or somewhere else for anything else if you can.

I have only had excellent experiences with this clinic. The receptionists are very kind and so are the physicians. I have seen both Dr. Petrov and Dr. Young (as a student) regarding acne. They are both friendly and have helped me tremendously. It is much easier to see physicians here for skin concerns rather than waiting months or even a year to see a dermatologist.

As a student in residence, this was super convenient. I was told by a staff member in another department to call them RIGHT when they open at 8:30 to get a walk in spot, and to try until you get through. I did this and got a spot for just 2 hours later. Maybe this is more of a covid measure to schedule drop ins, but it meant that when I got there I only had to check in and they took me straight back to a room. Check in was simply showing the woman at the desk my health card and everything went quickly and smoothly.

why is it called drop-in counseling and advertised everywhere online as no appointment needed" if when you get there in obvious distress they still just turn you away and say you need to book an appointment? absolutely appalled at the lack of care for students and I hope anyone thinking of using this resource goes anywhere else. It is very sad that such a large university has such terrible mental health resources especially considering how often they talk about mental health and wellness."

First time in my life having physical symptoms arising from mental health and stress and also affecting my mood. Sought counselling to help cope and it wasn't very helpful, just kept asking my why I was in counselling and told me to seek help from a physician. Booked an appointment a month in advance for a physician and because of covid assumed it was online and the email to confirm my appointment never mentioned it being in person. So called them the day of asking why I hadn't received a link to the appointment all I get is that doctor never does online appointments and we would never have told you that (as if I could've or would've known that) then says we are gonna charge you for missing the appointment and you can't schedule another one because she's booked. Thank you Guelph student health services for making me feel worse than I had before I decided to seek help for my mental health needs and increasing my stress and frustration 10 fold.
