Stephen's Edge Painting

I have nothing but good things to say about Stephen's Edge Painting. The owner, Pete, came down to give me an estimate on a loved one's estate, the day that I called. Pete was courteous and professional and I received a quote within a day or two. The price for the work was very reasonable. (I should know: I received estimates from 6 - 7 different painting companies and it was amazing how they varied in both price and scope of work.)One of the other reasons I would highly recommend this company was their willingness to work with me. As this was an estate and had to be cleared out, I ran into some time delays with coordinating different vendors. As a result, my timeline to get Pete and his crew in, changed a few times. Pete was gracious about it and said he could work around my schedule, which he did. The day that I said he could come was the day he showed up.The work was professional, clean and quick. Pete painted a 1200 sq ft condo in 2 days. He even came back, after the job was done, to touch up some walls that got scuffed by a repairman.Conclusion: I would hire Stephen's Edge, again, to do further painting jobs. But don't take my word, call around and get a bunch of quotes. You'll find that this company prices competitively and are very keen to get your business.

My wife and I chose Stephen's Edge because of their high rating on Google and I can confirm that their rating is well-deserved. Pete came very quickly to inspect the work we needed done and emailed us a quote before long.Beyond being a good guy to talk to, Pete's genuine desire to provide the best possible service was a consistent and clear assurance that we chose well. Stephen's Edge went above and beyond, doing much more than what they were hired to and always doing so gladly. I will never use a different service for professional painting and recommend you follow suit.

I wish I could write a more positive review for Stephen's Edge Painting because we really liked Pete when we met him. After finishing our house build, the plan was for my husband and I to do the painting ourselves, but after realizing it was going to take us too long, we contacted a couple of painters to get quotes. We liked Pete immediately but ultimately chose him because he could get it done quickly. However, his subcontractors rarely showed up when they were supposed to and our job took weeks longer than we were told it would; more than once, Pete was surprised to hear that the painters hadn't been there. Our kitchen install was delayed twice because the paint wasn't done. I think that they did a decent job, however they stacked the doors too soon after painting and caused quite a few marks/peeling. We want to share with you how much we really appreciate Stephen's Edge Painting company.We really appreciate all the hard work that was done at a residence in Stonewall and my work place in Winnipeg.Even asking along the way if we were happy with the the way things were going. I would never hesitate to recommend to anyone Pete and his crew. They are a very caring, polite and professional company!!

I'm sorry to have to give this review, however I would've appreciated knowing this before hiring as I did so based on the great reviews here.Pretty disorganized. Forgets what was talked about and doesn't reference the quote given for the job. (the kitchen was forgotten until they were reminded).Paint on wood banister even after final touches. I found paint splatters on my linoleum when I mopped afterward. Just sloppy and attention to detail was lackluster for hiring a professional.We were told that they triple-check their work, but I had to point out really obvious things that needed touching up. (paint on the trim, banister, and part of the wall that was missed)After 8 days I just wanted the job completed. Especially when it was said on day 3 that they were pretty much done. I knew I could remove the paint myself in less time. Which I did with rubbing alcohol.On a positive note, Miguel who painted the kitchen did a really great job. He painted it in 1 day. He was clean, professional, and really friendly.edit: The paint on the banister was not there prior to the job. The house was painted 7+ years ago and paint would not come off easily with alcohol if it was. The paint is the exact same colour that was painted and not the original. Pictures included.

Stephen and his colleagues just fished their painting work in our store. They are nice, efficiency,and professional. For sure they did perfect at the end. Absolutely highly recommend them!!

Everybody was such enthusiastic and working very hard to bring the attractive modern style and a fresh new look to the interior house. Especially, I want to give the huge thanks to Pete who is the experienced owner of this company. Thanks to his vision and advices the final job was perfectly done. Besides, I am very grateful to Miguel. He was a team leader, easy going and professional. Always polite and punctual. In spite of having three different quotes from the another painting companies, I chose the Stephen’s Edge. The price was negotiable and very reasonable. The final result was great. Pete was great, came over to take a look at our house within an hour of my husband calling. We left our keys in a lock box for Pete and his painters and they always locked up before leaving. My husband scuffed up some of the walls while moving furniture and Pete touched it up for us. We’ve already recommended Stephen’s Edge Painting to our family and friends. 10/10 we will be using this company again.
