I had beginner to advanced courses with Mario and I truly believe his courses are the best and top courses in montreal. Mario gives the most subtle details that are personalized only for you and for each student patiently and unconditionally. Mario’s love and passion for pottery is contagious . his teaching is a must if you want to realize yourself in pottery and clay works. I feel honoured to be his student and I am so happy that we have a chance to have him in Montreal.

I took several intermediate level classes and now I have met most of the staff there. Everyone is passionate, friendly and professional. They are the best team I have never seen. Definitely recommend this studio.

Loved every minute of my 6 week hand building class with Helena. Learnt a ton, she (and other staff) were always helpful and caring, studio was very flexible on scheduling changes I had to request, the atmosphere is fun, creative and encouraging. Can’t recommend enough! I got to explore not only how to make functional basic pieces (cups, plates), but also some creative sculpture, very happy with how my sheep turned out, that I made completely from scratch

I could not have asked for a better teacher. Pottery was a whole new world for me and Mario, with his sunny disposition, accompanied me with such patience and kindness. Mario adapts his teaching methods to individual students and with his experience and knowledge, he is quick to share creative solutions to take you to the next level. His personal creations are sooooo beautiful and inspiring!

Unfortunately our beginner class with Helena was pretty disappointing. We didn't get much time to work with the clay maybe 30 min max. We had even less time because others were late and we had to wait, even though we personally arrived early. The demo took at least half an hour and then clean up takes another 30-40 min. It was super rushed and half the class ended up not even making 1 piece without help. Some students were given much more attention and it showed in who got pieces in the end. We understand pottery takes patience but we felt completely ignored and dropped by the end.

Mario was my first ever pottery teacher and is by far one of the most warm, vivacious, and patient people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is welcoming, encouraging and kind. You can tell just how much he enjoys sharing his love of pottery with others. It’s contagious! If you’re considering taking a pottery class Montreal, look no further.

I took two hand-building courses with Helena, and will definitely be back to take more! She's such a thoughtful teacher who really takes the time with each of her students to meet everyone at their skill level. Offering sage wisdom about not letting fear guide you, Helena encouraged me to create pieces I felt too novice to execute well and they turned out better than I could've hoped!I can't recommend this studio enough, beyond their gracious flexibility with my scheduling mishaps, the supportive environment is unparalleled. Truly a healing experience!

Beautiful studio. We really enjoyed our classes with Mario. The studio has a super pretty selection of glazes to paint your pieces with.

This is the BEST pottery studio in Montreal hands down!I highly recommend Cône10 as you get a 3-hour class with a teacher + 2-hour open studio (this is optional but I recommend it if you want to practice on your own). The studio is well-organized, clean and well-equipped. Bonus: You can make up 3 classes during the session. This is an amazing perk as a majority of studios do not allow this!I did the beginner's wheel throwing class with Jeff. He's a wonderful pottery teacher - very patient and calm, gives clear instructions, and is very encouraging! I loved it so much that I also signed up to the independent practice - I'm hooked. The staff is wonderful and helpful - Mario, Lea, Jeff, Juliana and Meriel are amazing!

Mario is a very passionate and kind teacher. His new studio looks great. It's tidy, organised and has all the tools you need, he offers different colors of quality clay and special glazes. In just one class I managed to perfect techniques I was struggling with. I definetly recomend.
