The BEST dog trainers out there! You can tell Josh really loves and cares about dogs, he has a high level of communication and great kindness with our dog and our pup adores him! We started with their Puppy 101 with the group class, our pup most definitely made friends along the way, we're levelling up to Super Dogs!Our family were used to the old" methods in training our dogs over the years (we had over 10 dogs in our lifetime lol)

My boyfriend and I went for an hour session with Josh after adopting from a shelter. I loved the way he explained things with examples. I also like how he didn't dismiss my ideas and just gave a possible alternative. Josh is very knowledgeable. You can tell he loves dogs. Highly recommend this place.

After multiple trainers and zero results, I showed up to Canine Education feeling completely helpless. The first session I sat down with Josh and I explained my situation. I explained to him that I have a Frenchie who is scared of absolutely everything. If someone sneezed, coughed, used aluminum foil, used scotch tape, opened the oven drawer, he was attacking you with aggression. Josh immediately made me feel reassured and made me feel confident that we can fix my situation. After taking baby steps, a lot of patience, great guidance and a lot of positive reinforcements, I was able to teach my pup that these are not in fact scary noises. Josh cares about all his clients both dogs and humans with all his heart. He is not only an amazing trainer who shows results but also an amazing person. I highly recommend Josh for any type of training, from the basics to the more extreme, I promise he will get the job done big or small.

I started working with Josh Taylor in 2016. I sought out his help for my leash reactive husky/malamute mix with a bite history. We did private sessions with Josh and then the following summer we signed up for Leash Reactivity Class. The tools and techniques Josh showed us, positive reinforcement and behaviour modification, helped Sakima and I develop confidence and understanding in each other. Sakima’s final years were spent walking daily in Parc LaFontaine. What a transformation!Recently I have worked with some of the others trainers at Canine Education in Puppy 101 and Super Dog, with Leo, my young pup. We look forward to starting Einstein!I recommend Canine Education to anyone looking to improve and deepen your relationship with your canine companion(s). These guys are game changers !

From the first training session, Josh has taught me the psyche behind behavioural dog training for my dog. His training tactics and homework were spot on and really helped me on a daily basis with the development of my dog.Josh is not only incredibly knowledgeable and insightful but he is sincere and honest in everything he says and does. His trainings are all positive reinforcement based and uses games as a method of training, which has brought so much enjoyment for both my dog and I.Would recommend Canine Eduction to anyone looking for a professional dog trainer devoted to the love of dogs and behaviour training that is far and above anything I would have ever expected. It's been and continues to be a wonderful experience working with Josh!

If you are reading this, you are looking at the right place.Canine education does not only help you with your dog but also with you. My dog Zuko was afraid of everything and therefore reacted to everything. I felt like I failed my Dog because he was in constant fear. 10 classes later Zuko can manage his fears. Does he still get scared? Yes from time to time but it only last a second because of the training. He can now walk near kids, trucks, dogs and stop feeling like the world is out to get him. We get to paddle board, hike, bike and ski now without reactions from him! Gets to enjoy life as he should be.Canine education gave me the tools I needed but also made me feel like I wasn’t a failure.They are amazing! Honestly, do not hesitate for once second. Take the classes, do the work and you will see that you and your dog will get closer and life would be easier and lighter.I also want to thank Josh and everyone at Canine Education. Highly recommend Josh Taylor & Canine Education. Our experience with him went above and beyond what we anticipated. The changes we've seen in our dog after 5 private sessions is remarkable. And knowing that Josh is always reachable should we have any questions is a bonus!

Amazing dog trainer, they really do care about how we bond with our dog!! Everytime we ask questions and are concerned about any training problems, they come to the rescue! We’ve been training our golden retriever since she’s 3 months old, starting from puppy 101! What a huge difference from what we’ve done in a past with our other dogs… wish we could have came for help before! Love how they organize their group classes, max is 4 dogs per group class, it makes us feel safer in a small group environment with our puppy. And she LOVES to socialize with all the other little ones :):):)

What a wonderful, positive and calm experience for me and my dog. I have a 2 year old rescue from a northern village. She had some skittishness and nerves but we walked into Josh's room, sat down and just talked through the issues. He is gentle and calm and exudes authority. She reacted so well and he was very helpful with pointers and recommendations.
