I took a leather motorcycle vest there to have a few patches stitched on. Had a bit of a hard time explaining what I had in mind but we came to an agreement and once i got it back, it looked exactly what I had in mind. Its been about 3 years and have had absolute success....not ever worried about a stitch falling loose. Also found out my mother had one of my sisters wedding dresses hemmed there and it was amazing work. Currently going back to have other patches done as I do not have the tools, nor patience lol, to sew them on myself.A craftsman/craftswoman at work. Wish you could find more of them around nowadays, but not surprised.

I've brought dresses here in the past with wonderful results, but after my most recent experience I will never be back. I brought in a chiffon bridesmaid's dress for alterations at the beginning of May and when I returned at the end of May it had been absolutely butchered. The hem was too long in front, terribly uneven all the way around, and very, very poorly sewn. The straps looked like they had been handsewn by a child, were the wrong length, and two very different mismatched widths. The work I had requested in the front was left completely undone. I had to take it to a bridal shop to see if they could salvage it- it took nearly $300 in alterations to fix it.

Highly recommend!! JoAnna is the sweeetest lady and she did an incredible job on my dress alterations. It was a really difficult job too because there was a zipper involved and it was a pretty fancy cocktail dress for a wedding so the material is very delicate. You cant even tell it was altered at all! Seamless work. She also made sure it was ready in time on short notice and the prices are very fair for the work she does!! She was recommended to me by a friend who was very impressed with her wedding dress alterations by JoAnna, she really knows what shes doing and has built her business from the ground up! Great local business to support!

Joanna is wonderful - the man that works there is awful. I will never bring them any business again. I asked for a 5 day turnaround, understanding that he might not be able to accommodate. Instead of saying no, I had to hear 100 complaints about me and other customers. I will never return again - which shouldn't be a problem for him, since he told me never to return again. If my review can prevent one person from going to this place, I can die a happy man.

I went to Joanna because of her positive review and after trying to do business with her three times I feel compelled to write a review discouraging anyone from doing the same. My first time in was for a bridesmaids dress. Long story short she did not take enough off the halter and hemmed it too high and unevenly. Luckily I had worn heels to the fitting and changed to a lower heel to mask the hem. Second time was for an evening gown for a cruise. I tried the dress on for her and she said to me that it was the wrong dress for me and to return it! I could not believe my ears! I told her to please take in the straps and say no more. I went to pick up my dress only to see that she had reversed a strap causing it to twist! My final time was taking one of my husbands shirts and a pair of pants to her for basic mending. She told me to come back in a week. I did and she had apparently closed early that day with no note on the door. I returned the next day only for her to tell me she didn't do any of the work because she noticed a few hairs on the pants and was too busy to call me! I grabbed my clothes and left. I have no idea how she is in business!

If you ever find yourself in need of tailoring this is the place to go. This woman can fix ANYTHING that you need. Not only did she fit an incredibly detailed and beaded wedding dress for my daughter but she did it in such a way that you would never guess the dress had ever needed anything. AMAZING! She also fitted my dress perfectly and at a price that was more than reasonable. And she's able to finish in the even shortest of time frames if needed. I can't say enough about how wonderful her work is so look no farther for your tailoring needs.. Go to Joanna's!!!

My wife took in 2 pairs of pants to be repaired ovet a month ago-I went to pick them up today and the woman said no time it is wedding seaon-this was maybe a 15 minute repair and shoud could not be bothered to repair them -Will take them to a reputable tailor

Joanna is THE BEST! She is honest, experienced, fast, and kind. She takes good care of her customers. Her work product is excellent. She has altered pants and dresses for me and all of the items were perfect on her first attempt.
