Dr. Chu is an absolute angel. She is a very hard working woman that will pull every string possible to make sure you are comfortable. (Even while on vacation) she takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and happy.You’re safe here with Dr. Chu and her team. I’ve actually never met such an incredible doctor, she has done more for me in just 3 short months, then my family doctor has in 30+ years!Dr. Chu, your hard work does not go unnoticed! I’ve even given you high compliments/regards at the cpso! You deserve the world and more!Veronica, Priti and all the girls at this place are absolutely incredible, non judgemental, very caring and helpful. The clinic is exceptionally clean and it’s a pleasant experience every time.

WORST clinic I've been to. They treat you like cattle and make you feel worthless. You aren't a patient there, you're a customer, they even call you that on occasion. This is not a clinic to get well at it's a business designed to keep you on for life so they can keep getting paid. There is zero support here, no councilor, just condescension from the staff who also happen to be rude, unhelpful, and worse, extremely inept , incompetent, & ignorant. Also there are silly rules that literally NO other clinic has. Do yourself an enormous favor and find yourself a clinic that isn't in the middle of nowhere, doesn't make you sample twice a week, doesn't make you fill 2/3 of the bottle for a simple dip test, has counseling & other programs, doesn't demand constant pointless blood tests, and most importantly of all, has a nonjudgmental, helpful, & supportive attitude for the individuals they care for.

If your ready to change your life these guys are ready to help you. Dr. Chu is an amazing doctor and all doctors should strive to be like her. I came in on a long weekend and she took time out of her holiday to HELP me so I wasn't suffering withdrawls the whole weekend. No other doctor would of done that. The nurses and support staff are friendly and very helpful. Dont be like me and wait forever to get your life back on track ..call these guys today and let Dr.Chu and her team help you out.

I am currently an appointed guardian of a patient who visits the OATC for the last month. This is my first experience regarding addiction treatment. The staff has made me and more importantly the patient feel very welcome, warm and not so clinical amd cold. Thank you for the job and the service you provide our community.

I've dealt with two clinics before this one & this blew my expectations out of the water. The hours are super convenient, but keep in mind they're closed from 1-2pm for lunch. The staff is kind and non-judgemental. The doctor I have is thorough in explaining things and very nice. Intake was very thorough which I liked & haven't experienced previously. I'll never recommend anywhere but here. If you're ready to make the changes needed, this is the best place to go.

I have been on the program for several years, and OATC OAK is one of the best clinics I have dealt with. The hours are amazing...they are also open on the weekend!! I have never experienced any rude behaviour from any staff there. In fact, they have all treated me with respect. The old saying is correct. You treat people with respect, you will get treated the same in return. I was very hesitant on using OATC OAK because I was very happy with the Dr. I had, but due to distance, I transferred to OATC OAK. I am extremely happy with Dr. Chu as she genuinely cares for her patients.

If you want structured care, come here and ask for Dr. Chu to be your care provider. She will help you with the tools you need to turn your life around, whether it be harm-reduction or to finally be clean and sober; she is the care provider for you!Dr. Chu is also very flexible with appt times, most clinics make you work around their schedule, but Dr. Chu wants to help you get your life back on track. She offers a DBT course to help you in your daily life outside the clinic. There are not many clinics out there willing to offer much more than your daily prescription. She is a very kind doctor and is completely non judgmental.

OATC in Oakville gives horrible service but they know people need the help and they can be as rude and as misleading as they want and there is nothing anyone can do. The male nurse is rude, obnoxious and quick to blame the clinics own mistakes on the clients. Also the PEE" girl who watches people leave their samples seems to be allowed to give medical advice. I assumed she was a nurse and able to do so but what she told me was wrong and now im paying for it. The best the doctor could do was put my appointment over to the next day which unfortunately I could not make and got berated by the male nurse who was more concerned with me not knowing PEE girls name then my concern."

Listen, if someone slips on ice outside your location I expect more than two people to come out to help them. I also expect them to actually show compassion and not immediately run inside.But no, I was left helping one of your patients get into her car and put her belongings in her car after she slipped outside of your location. Did you guys offer to call an ambulance? No.I just can't believe the lack of compassion or caring for other people from you guys.
