I’m writing this on behalf of my brother and myself as we both had surgeries with him long long time ago, we believe we owe him a very big thanks.My brother had a surgery with Dr Gilas around 20 years ago and he was very pleased, so 10 years ago when I encountered the same issue and needed the exact type of surgery, I asked my family doctor to refer me to him, I’m glad he accepted me.I owe him big thanks and my brother also is very happy particularly when we hear from others who had similar surgeries in other places but they are not happy with their surgery results.A Great doctor and very caring surgeon.

Personable and down to earth. Manages your expectations while discussing your surgery with you. After my consultation I had 100% confidence in Dr. Gilas; while my procedure was a routine one (hernia repair), I felt comfortable and informed going in to the operating room. Kim, his frontline staff was a treat to interact with and I would definitely shop here again for hernia repair (hopefully not).

I’m heartily thankful to Dr. Thomas Gilas for my successful mastectomy surgery for my third stage breast Cancer. Recently I’m been given green signal from him that I’m completely ok.I actually remember my first meeting with him in August 2020 when I got my diagnosis report thru him and he very well handled me cos I had no one besides me during that hard time.He is really gem of a person.Highly recommended!!!!!All the best and be healthy as always.

Worse bedside manners. Does not understand or accept the impact of his words. Lack professionalism. Examined me without hygienic gloves on! Absolutely ridiculous experience with Dr. Tom Gilas at Michael Garron. Would never recommend.
