Cabinscape - Mason Cabin

The cabin is very well equipped with all kitchen essentials, including tea, coffee, olive oil, sugar, flour. (French press and moka pot for making coffee) We went in early December so water had been turned off but you are provided with 40L of clean water for drinking/dishes. There is a generator which has easy to use instructions in event solar power dips too low. You are provided a sled to help with the hike in (300m). The hike-in itself is quite easy and takes about 5 minutes from Sumac centre. Drive in option only recommended for a vehicle such as a jeep.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! What a wonderful experience we had at Finch Cabin, in Calabogie. We were pleasantly surprised at how Cabinscape provided many great touches such as, games, books, kitchenware and a truly comfortable space to call home" for a few days. We will for sure be repeat customers and cannot wait to experience the other cabins they have to offer!"

Lucky enough to have just had my second stay at one of Cabinscapes tiny cabins. First stayed at the Ember, and this past weekend at the Baylight.Both experiences exceeded my/our expectations. Pictures of cabins/property are on point with exactly what you get/see upon arrival.Kitchens are well stocked, cabins are super clean, neat and tidy, property is well maintained, beds are very comfortable. Instructions to gain access to the property and cabin are simple and user friendly"

We stayed at Mason cabin in October and it was a magical weekend. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy with a gorgeous view of the small lake. We loved how secluded the property was and we enjoyed hiking, canoeing, and a campfire. I was proposed to on the dock, so Mason will forever hold a special place in my memory and I am sure we will be back one day :)

What an incredible winter getaway to relax and create the best memories. They had all the essentials ready for us, the cabin was warm and very clean when we arrived ! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Had a wonderful stay at Finch cabin this past weekend. The cabin was very clean which was really appreciated! It had everything we needed - cooking equipment, french press for coffee, drinking water, etc. Will definitely come back.

We stayed at Juniper Cabin on a beautiful winter weekend. The cabin itself was true to the advertised pictures. It was tidy and had all of the amenities advertised and more. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The huge window beside the bed provided the perfect view for moonlit evenings where we felt we slept underneath the stars. While there in the winter we never felt cold or uncomfortable, the temperature could be set in the cabin easily. We brought candles which provided beautiful ambience at night. The cabin is close to the Tay-Havelock trail which was perfect for cross country skiing. The rushing waters down the embankment from the cabin provided a beautiful view and made it feel like we were in the wilderness. We would definitely return to this cabin or another in the future. The owners were excellent to deal with and were prompt with answering questions or providing information. It was a perfect getaway!

We loved how so much is provided with the cabin and all you really need to worry about bringing is your linens, your food, and yourself! Pretty much everything else is taken care of. Extra points for having pet friendly options as well! The info email before arriving was so informative and had easy to follow directions and check in. We also found the cabin information binder very helpful.

My family and I have now stayed twice with cabinscape (at Joni and Emery locations) and they did not disappoint. Keep in mind we have a baby and a toddler. The cabins are perfect for all ages and offer so many fun outdoor activities. Highly recommend for a lovely family getaway. My toddler loved the outdoor shower feature in the summer. Bonus the tiny cabins even fit a pack and play!
