La Bodeguita de Cuba

My husband and I just paid a visit and it was spectacular. I felt like I'd walked into an aunts house back in Miami and was comfortable enjoying my time there. Unlike in most other restaurants, I didn't feel rushed or hassled, not even when a MASSIVE group arrived with no reservation and the sudden need for the staff to split their attention amongst the smaller tables and this 15+ person group.Other guests, please note: This place is awesome but the restaurant is on the smaller side. Being that it's not a chain restaurant with tons of tables, please be considerate and call ahead to warn them that you'll be visiting with a lot of people. This way they can prepare to dedicate that much attention to a single group.My husband and I didn't feel neglected in any way because of the group but knowing the industry, I'm sure the staff will go home pretty exhausted tonight. As it is, the food tasted great, was seasoned just right, and the desserts were decadent without being overpowering. The quantity of food definitely justifies the price. Authentic Cuban Restaurant! Delicious food, nice place, great service

My dad and I both chose the same soup and entree menu items as there was a special. We had the black bean soup and the Masas de Puerco Fritas (fried cubed pork with grilled onions. Served with moro rice, boiled yuca, with Cuban mojo). I had the Tres Leches cake (three layered milk cake) for dessert and my dad had flan (cubed custard with syrup). The owner served us, was attentive and solicitous, and asked if we wanted to add our names or comments to a wall near the till. He told us that they have live music on Saturdays. I'll return. Fun times, tasty food!

Tasty Cuban fare! Will be back when I’m not working for a cocktail. Still lots of interesting dishes left for me to try. Friendly folk!

This place is one of those hidden gems of edmonton. Beautiful interior, it feels like you're not in Edmonton. Very authentic interior.The food was excellent as well. Finally enjoyed an euthentic Cubano sandwich in Edmonton. Plenty of meat in all dishes and very flavourful.The espresso was well extracted. It had a bold taste. I've never had Cubano coffee before but it was excellent. Definitely will be coming back for other dishes.

Great Cuban food. This location is tucked away just north of 118 Ave and 87 St. We weren’t sure what to expect but we thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. The ambiance is great and the server was friendly and courteous. To be honest I have forgotten the names of of our food but that’s okay because it is the taste and presentation that matters most and on that department it was excellent. The food was great, tasty and served hot. I definitely recommend this restaurant as the experience was great.

Very cozy restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The hosts were incredibly gracious, and serenaded us with classical guitar music during our meal. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible the food was! With a wide variety of classic Cuban dishes and cocktails at more than reasonable prices, I highly recommend La Bodeguita for everyone who wants to try something new!

This place needs you! The chef/owner is a genuine dude who really cares about the quality of his ingredients. I can't wait to go back and try his chicharons. We tried a few samples of what he has to offer and ever single dish was exceptional. I am eager to get back with a gang of hungry friendsMake this place the success it deserves to be!

I came here with my family for dinner tonight and I was blown away by the quality of the food!! As a first-generation Cuban, the authenticity of the food is phenomenal! It tastes as if we were back in Habana enjoying a meal by the ocean.Not only was the food and service incredible, the owner of the restaurant took the time to sing some classic songs while playing the guitar. This was such an amazing touch, and made the night so memorable!Although their prices are a little high, I shared a 'Ropa vieja' with my boyfriend and we were stuffed! The dishes definitely are worth the price, and even more for how good they taste.I will definitely be coming back with even more family and friends. I am so glad they have skip the dishes, which means I can order any time I want!!

Great place for lunch on a Sunday! We shared appetizer with pork, plantain and croquettes and it was amazing. The Cuban sandwich was as good as I have had in Miami!!! We’ll be back!!!
