The Cat Hospital of Kamloops

My cat Rocky was really sick one evening and I was very worried about him. So I called the cat hospital and the vet was able to see me after hours. She gave him some shots and some medicine to see if it would help. And if not to bring him back in the morning. I am so grateful that I was able to at least try and get the medicine he needed. Thank you ♡

I am very pleased with your services! I felt very comfortable bringing my lil kitty into the Cat Hospital for his neuter, from the first phone call to book the appointment. I knew this was the place to go when they answered the phone with Meow!" I hope to not have to come back often

Dr Drew was great! He took the time to really try to get to know us and our cat. He asked a lot of questions and listened carefully to our answers and also answered all of our questions thoroughly. I've only given 4 stars as we have only had 1 appointment so far but it was a very positive experience and we are looking forward to our relationship with Dr Drew and the Cat hospital of Kamloops throughout our cat's life.

Every time I take my cat to the Cat Hospital, I feel like I am walking into a family gathering. Both the vets and the wonderful support staff are genuinely welcoming and immediately familiar with my blind kitty who is not easy to examine or treat. They are understanding and compassionate even with the most difficult of patients (and cat-parents). Also, the comparatively reasonable fees make me confident that they are there because they truly care about feline well-being. Most definitely the best place to trust when it comes to your purring fur-baby in Kamloops.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Veterinarian was professional and explained her findings clearly. My cat is much happier and healthier. Thank you for providing veterinary services that specialize in cat health. Very affordable as well. 5 stars!

I cannot express enough just how thankful I am for the amazing staff at this place. My kitty was hit a couple weeks ago by a car (or so we think) - we originally brought her to vet closer to our house in the Shuswap and learned that she had a dislocated hip and needed surgery to put it back in place. After 5 days of waiting to hear from them on a surgery date I finally learned that it wouldn't be for another 2 weeks. Mortified and unwilling to leave my kitty in pain for that long I reached out to this hospital. I got a consult the very next day and Dr. Sandy (who was suppose to leave on vacation the following day) stayed to perform the surgery for my girl!!It may be a longer drive for me, but if either of my fur faces need to see a vet, you can guarantee that I'll be taking them here from now on!!THANK YOU to Dr.Sandy and all of the lovely staff - I appreciate your compassion, dedication and willingness to help!!

I want to be able to give a better review because I do really like this hospital and all of the staff.Unfortunately like most of the other low reviews, mine is based off of Dr. Sandy's behaviour towards us. He lacks compassion and can come across as very judgmental. He makes you feel very terrible after asking you questions about your pet if they go against what he would have done.I really do believe at one point he was a great vet but I think it is time for him to retire. I'm not saying I don't think he doesn't know what he's doing but compassion is a very important aspect of being a vet. More often than not I have left feeling guilty and upset. He doesn't seem to understand that even though we love our pets, sometimes it's very difficult to afford certain treatments which is why vet visits may go longer than than they should.If you call the emergency line after hours, Sandy seems grumpy and annoyed to have to work. I also believe he's not always truthful about things going on with your cat.I would really love to continue to use this as my vet but I will be going elsewhere until he retires.

The most caring vet Dr Erin is!!! Unfortunately my cat had a very bad experience at another vet. Cat Hospital got my Milo in quickly and went above and beyond compared to other vet! Highly recommend Cat Hospital

I highly recommend. They saved our cat Willow. The staff and Dr Drew we’re amazing, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. They took the best car of Willow she is doing great.

I recently had my cat spayed at the Cat Hospital. I was so impressed with how friendly and professional all the staff were. My cat came home feeling fine, with an almost invisible stitch line it was so neat. Her recovery has been smooth. I will be taking my cats there over the years, they were great! I highly recommend them and you won't find a better price anywhere, it was incredibly reasonable.
