just nowNEWI used to work there (at Burlington).... everything was going good after which they terminate me without any reason.... they just called me to supervisor and gave me termination letter. When I asked for reason , they said we are owner we hire people in need, we fire people when there us no need so that we don't need you anymore and no need to give any reason to you.......... Sofina is not a bad place to work but my experience at end was not good because they didn't gave me any warning before termination if i did any mistake.

Very clean and lot of nice people had an interview with them it was the most amazing tour I ever had the offices are clean but the floors were grey and needed a good tune up the offices were HR was looked like a school setting they have old wooden doors and washroom was old school looked like they needed a renovation but super clean, when I left washroom I saw another hallway with cubicles in the back and saw this woman wearing a beautiful black blowse and a beautiful long black dress with black high heels walking the HR that I toured with was 2 lovely ladies and they very funny had to dress in there costume to go to production area started in cleanest to dirtiest it was for food safety had to constantly wash hands and shoes for safety it was pretty cool sanitizing my shoes in white foam dispensing and saw the production it looked like the Detroit assembly line tons of people were side by side working hard it was amazing seeing such dedication towards food safety, it truly was an eye opener for me and was heading into the kill area but I gotta see the guys that work on the kill floor they were yellow aprons that had blood but they seemed to me did not want to do it by there face expression did not reach into were they kill them but I know by the holes in each product it was a vacuum knife that sucks blood into the B&B transport trailer or held in those massive tanks that can hold until the company comes to collect and one in HR didn’t want to see the kill floor so we had to go to the offices and do application form and one of the other guy looked happy knowing that there is more people who wanna work he was dressed very formal, was impresssed the way the place looks and runs I didn’t get a job for summer but I will look in the future they seem like a great place to work.

Worst product i have ever bought, they are now investigating who let this product through, will never buy another product by Sofina foods.

At dec 23 temp was feels like -20 shunter (Evening shift) guy don't know how to drop the trailer in yard I wasted my 20 minutes to up landing gear .

Horrible place to work, greedy management, they pay you as decimals, not an hourly not a minute but by decimals , exemple 41hr 90 , explain what is 90 ‼️, yes ridiculous way to get richer also very poor management and supervisors, if you care about yourself and you want to have a family life don’t work in here , the union UFCW local 175 is ridiculous they don’t do nothing on your behalf, yes if you want to confirm this , just applied and try to work there , I give you time until you find something else, this company have do front doors cowboys style.Well if you want to give a try , good bless you.

Stable job, great benefits!

Had to make a plant visit last week March 2nd and the slim Middle Eastern security guard inside the small booth was extremely rude and condescending. Very bad image for Sofina Foods which is otherwise a great company

Horrible place to work. They fired my dad for being sick and asking to switch departments. He worked for them for 15 years and they fired him in an instant like it was nothing and never compensated him. Worst place ever.
