Strong Hold Equipment
Bought 2 tool chest in September 2019. They arrived damaged in late October. I refused shipment and as of April 23 and months or emails I have not received tool chest or a refund. I was told they were sending a check on March 31st but it did not come. I emailed again on April 14 and they supposedly sent it out the day before. Now it is April 23 and still no check.I have filed suit.

We won an auction and sent him a label, but the equipment never arrived and FedEx shows no history of receiving it. He has no proof and will not rectify the issue of replacement or refund. I gave him proof of the label history. He would not follow up and would rarely reply. He is a fraud. Do NOT use his company unless you want to risk your cash.

In our company we always buy from Stronghold, measuring instruments, tooling and used equipment and we have had the best experience. The two owners Mike and Alex are great knowledgeable guys, very professionals, and they tell you things straight. An example of our experience is when we bought our surface grinder, we thought something was wrong with it, call them, and they came right away on a Saturday, with two technicians. It end up that the machine was working perfectly and we haven't read the manual properly. They left shaking hands and not charging for the service call.

I wish i would have read this before buying.. I honestly thought it was an auction / liquidation, these guys just sell stuff with known issues, bought a forklift - looked great in pics. once i get it i see its got a fresh coat of paint, doesnt work in gas" mode

I asked to come pick up a machine and pay for it on the spot. I only live a few hours away. They said no we want to ship it. Listing was in Buffalo Ny. Then they told me the machine was in canada. But the listing said Buffalo Ny. I had asked them if I could pick it up before i even bid. And asked if they had a way to load this. They said yes $50 loading fee. I told then im not paying till I see the machine at this point. Now they want me to fill out a cancel auction form. I said no I have emails from you that I can pick it up in Buffalo Ny. Something pretty shady going on here. Buyer beware.

The products I have purchased have been in NEW condition and excellent quality. Has been very easy to work with and great value.

They made the purchase and shipping of auction lots very easy. Only complaint is that they do over estimate the quality of the equipment. They do repaint older equipment. Received one that said nice but had a dead battery.

Their auctions have had the same items for over a year, they just keep showing up auction after auction which is very suspect. They claim everything is mint but its old equipment they repaint and resell. Bought a forklift that was mint" but the battery needed replacement right away and it cost more than the forklift. I would avoid
